The Bolt EUV (2022-2023) is the slightly larger crossover variant launched in 2022 on the same platform. Both share the GM Gamma II battery electric platform and the same 5x105 bolt pattern with a 56.5mm (Bolt EV) or 56.6mm (Bolt EUV) hub bore. The 5x105 pattern is unusual in the aftermarket landscape. It is the same lug pattern used on older Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models and on European Opel Astra J and Insignia A platforms, but very few mass-market American cars run 5x105. Wheel selection on the Bolt is narrower than on more common 5-lug patterns like 5x114.3, so picking the right wheel from a verified-fitment catalog matters more than usual. The Chevrolet Bolt Bolt Pattern and Hub Bore

Every 2017-2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV and every 2022-2023 Bolt EUV runs 5x105 with a 5-lug hub. The hub bore is 56.5mm on the Bolt EV and 56.6mm on the Bolt EUV, a 0.1mm difference that is essentially the same hub. The thread pitch is 12x1.5 across both body styles, which is a narrower lug than the 14x1.5 thread used on most modern full-size GM platforms. The 5x105 pattern itself is shared with the older Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic compact cars (built off the same GM small-car architecture) and with several European Opel platforms (Astra J, Insignia A, Ampera-e). It is not shared with any other modern Chevrolet SUV or truck, so a wheel that fits a Bolt will not bolt onto a Trailblazer, Equinox, or larger GM crossover.

The 5x105 pattern is uncommon enough in the modern aftermarket that the wheel selection is narrower than on a more popular pattern. Bolt EV vs Bolt EUV: What Changes for Aftermarket Wheels

The Bolt EV is the original compact hatchback, in production from 2017 through 2023. The Bolt EUV is the slightly larger crossover variant Chevrolet launched in 2022 on the same Gamma II BEV platform, with a longer wheelbase, more rear seat room, and slightly different fender geometry. At the wheel hub level the two are essentially identical. Same bolt pattern (5x105), same lug count (5), same thread pitch (12x1.5), and a 0.1mm difference in hub bore (56.5mm versus 56.6mm) that does not affect wheel selection. The only meaningful aftermarket split is the width window. The Bolt EV accepts aftermarket widths from 7.5 to 8.5 inch in our measured catalog. The Bolt EUV accepts a slightly different range, 6.5 to 8 inch, reflecting the crossover's specific suspension and fender geometry at certain offsets.

Both Bolt body styles run a square fitment from the factory, with the same wheel width front and rear. The aftermarket sticks to square, which is consistent with how a front wheel drive compact electric is built to drive. Tire rotation between front and rear is part of the maintenance routine on both body styles, and a square setup keeps that simple. Brake size is the same front and rear, which is normal on a compact electric where regenerative braking handles most of the deceleration and the friction brakes are sized for occasional stopping rather than continuous performance work.

For the Bolt that means clearance from the wheel to the fender on both axles (especially the front, where the steering geometry and the battery pack position are closest to the inner barrel), gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height (the 56.5mm hub and the lower brake clearance of a compact electric leave less room than a larger ICE crossover), hub bore confirmation at 56.5mm or 56.6mm, and lug seat depth for the 12x1.5 thread.
