Every C-10 with the stock 5-lug axle uses 5x127 with a 78.1mm hub bore. The imperial nickname for 5x127 is 5x5 (127mm converts cleanly to 5 inches). Five lugs, M14x1.5 thread pitch, factory lug nuts. The pattern is consistent across both the 1967-1972 Action Line and the 1973-1987 Square Body C-10 on the stock rear axle. 5x127 was a standard GM half-ton and full-size car bolt pattern for decades and is shared at the lug-and-hub level with same-era GMC C1500 light-duty trucks and a long list of classic GM cars. The most important caveat on the C-10 is the axle question. A lot of C-10 restoration and pro-touring builds swap the original 5-lug rear axle for a heavier 1-ton axle to handle more power or to drop the truck to street-truck stance. When that happens, the bolt pattern often changes. 6-lug 6x139.7 and 8-lug 8x165.1 swaps are common depending on the donor axle. If your C-10 has been axle-swapped, this page does not apply. Count the studs on one rear wheel first. 5 studs means the stock C-10 axle and this page applies. 6 studs means a 3/4-ton axle swap. 8 studs means a 1-ton axle swap.
