Chrysler 300 Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Chrysler 300 was Chrysler's full-size rear and all wheel drive sedan from 2005 through 2023. Every modern 300 (2005-2023) sits on the LX platform (LD on later facelift cars) and uses 5x115 with a 71.5mm hub bore. The LX platform is shared with the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger, so the 300 inherits the same 5x115 / 71.5mm pattern as those two cars. Within the 300 lineup, the RWD trims and the AWD trims carry different factory offset windows, and the 300 SRT8 halo trim adds front Brembo calipers that the rest of the lineup does not have. Chrysler retired the 300 after the 2023 model year and the nameplate is discontinued. Element Wheels measures fitment on every modern 300 generation and tracks RWD, AWD, and SRT8 separately. Find your trim below and the wheel and rim recommendations follow.

Find Your Chrysler 300 Generation

Pick your trim and drivetrain to see wheels and rims that fit your specific Chrysler 300. The bolt pattern on every modern 300 is 5x115 / 71.5mm CB. What changes between trims is the factory offset window, the brake package, and (on AWD) the staggered question.

The Chrysler 300 Bolt Pattern

Every modern Chrysler 300 (2005-2023) uses 5x115 with a 71.5mm hub bore. The pattern carried through both generations, every trim, and both the rear wheel drive and all wheel drive layouts. 5x115 is the Chrysler LX platform pattern, shared with the same-era Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger because those three cars are built on the same chassis. A 5x115 wheel built for an LX Charger will bolt to an LX 300 in pattern and hub centering. The offset, width, and brake clearance still need to be confirmed for the 300 specifically, but the stud pattern crosses cleanly across the LX family.

The detail that trips buyers: 5x115 is NOT the same as 5x114.3. The two patterns sit roughly 0.7mm apart. They look identical at a glance but the studs do not align cleanly across both. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers ONLY to 5x114.3 (114.3mm = 4.5 inches), NOT to 5x115. Anyone telling you the 300 is "5x4.5" is wrong. Same goes for anyone calling it "5x114.3". The Chrysler 300 is 5x115. Period. The wheels do not cross between 5x115 and 5x114.3 cars safely, even with a hammer and a tape measure as backup. Forcing a 5x114.3 wheel onto 5x115 studs causes uneven seating and stresses the studs over time. Compare against the rest of the Chrysler lineup at our Chrysler wheels and rims hub.

Why RWD vs AWD Fitment Differs on the 300

The 300 lineup splits into two fitment groups by drivetrain: the rear wheel drive trims (300, 300S, 300C, 300 Touring, and the SRT8 halo) and the all wheel drive trims (300 AWD, 300C AWD). The RWD 300 runs a lower factory offset window and accepts staggered fitment as the typical aftermarket choice. The AWD 300 carries a materially higher factory offset and must run square (non-staggered) fitment because the all wheel drive system needs matched wheel and tire sizes on every corner. Running staggered on AWD damages the drivetrain over time. The 300 SRT8 inherits the RWD chassis and offset window and adds front Brembo brake calipers (4-piston on both the 2005-2010 6.1L Hemi and 2012-2014 6.4L Hemi). On the 300, the typical aftermarket wheel offset window is wide enough that the Brembo doesn't tend to be a clearance issue. Wheels sized for the base RWD 300 generally clear the SRT8 Brembo as well.

How We Confirm Fitment on Chrysler 300 Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including every modern 300 trim and drivetrain combination. For the 300 that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height, hub bore confirmation, lug seat depth, and turning clearance. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.

That measurement work is what produced the trim-specific and drivetrain-specific fitment windows on this page. It is also what lets us call out the 5x115 vs 5x114.3 mismatch as a real risk on this platform; we have seen customers come to us after another shop sold them 5x114.3 wheels on a 300 and we have measured the result on the studs.

Chrysler 300 Wheels and Rims FAQ

What is the bolt pattern on a Chrysler 300?

Every modern Chrysler 300 (2005-2023) uses 5x115 with a 71.5mm hub bore. The pattern is uniform across both generations, every trim, and both rear wheel drive and all wheel drive. 5x115 is the LX platform pattern shared with the same-era Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger.

Is the Chrysler 300 bolt pattern 5x115 or 5x114.3?

5x115. Not 5x114.3 and not 5x4.5. The two patterns are 0.7mm apart and they do not cross. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers only to 5x114.3 (114.3mm = 4.5 inches), never to 5x115. Anyone telling you the 300 is "5x4.5" is wrong. A 5x114.3 wheel forced onto a 5x115 hub seats unevenly and stresses the studs over time. Stick to 5x115 specifically.

Will Dodge Charger or Challenger wheels fit my Chrysler 300?

Pattern yes, fitment confirm. The 300, Charger, and Challenger are all LX platform cars and all run 5x115 with a 71.5mm hub bore. The wheels bolt to the same hub. But each car has its own factory offset window and brake clearance. A wheel that fits a Charger Hellcat does not automatically fit a 300 SRT8 or a 300 AWD. Use the Year/Make/Model search to confirm the wheel was fit-tested on the 300 specifically. We measure each of the three cars separately.

Are Chrysler 300 wheels staggered?

Depends on drivetrain. The rear wheel drive 300 (including 300C, 300S, and SRT8) accepts staggered as an option and many aftermarket builds run staggered for the look and the wider rear. The all wheel drive 300 must run square (non-staggered). The four wheel drive system needs matched wheel and tire sizes front and rear; running staggered on AWD damages the drivetrain over time. SRT8 is RWD only and stagger is on the table.

What brakes are on a 300 SRT8?

The 300 SRT8 came with front 4-piston Brembo brake calipers from the factory in both generations (2005-2010 with the 6.1L Hemi, 2012-2014 with the 6.4L Hemi). On the 300 platform, the typical aftermarket wheel offset window is wide enough that the Brembo doesn't tend to be a clearance issue. Wheels sized for the base RWD 300 generally clear the SRT8 Brembo as well. Confirm your specific build with our Year/Make/Model search or contact our team.

What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Chrysler 300?

Our measured aftermarket window tops at 24 inch on every modern 300 trim. 20 inch and 22 inch are the most common aftermarket choices on RWD and SRT8 cars. AWD trims top out at 24 inch with the right offset and tire size. Above 24 inch on the 300, the tire sidewall thins to a point where ride quality and curb damage risk both jump sharply.

Do I need hub centric rings on a Chrysler 300?

Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 71.5mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.

How do I find the right wheels for my specific Chrysler 300?

Three steps. Confirm your generation (2005-2010 1st gen or 2011-2023 2nd gen), trim (base 300, 300S, 300C, or SRT8), and drivetrain (RWD or AWD). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific 300 (each listing shows its own offset) and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. If your car is the SRT8 with front Brembos, or you have a lowering kit, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
