Chrysler Cirrus Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Chrysler Cirrus was Chrysler's mid-size four door sedan on the JA "cloud car" platform, produced 1995 through 2000 in a single generation. The Cirrus shared its chassis exactly with the 1st gen Dodge Stratus sedan and the Plymouth Breeze. The three cars were sold under different badges through different dealer networks but they sit on the same JA underbody, the same front wheel drive layout, and the same 5x100 bolt pattern with a 57.1mm hub bore. The Cirrus was discontinued after the 2000 model year and replaced for 2001 by the Chrysler Sebring sedan on the new JR platform. Aftermarket diameter on the Cirrus runs from 15 inch up to 20 inch in our catalog. Find the wheel and rim recommendations below.
Find Your Chrysler Cirrus Generation
The Cirrus ran a single generation from 1995 through 2000. Pick the year range to see wheels and rims that fit your specific Cirrus.
The Chrysler Cirrus Bolt Pattern
Every Chrysler Cirrus (1995-2000) uses 5x100 with a 57.1mm hub bore, M12x1.5 lug nuts, and 5 lugs. 5x100 is the small to mid-size Chrysler pattern of the 1990s and early 2000s. The Cirrus shares its bolt math exactly with the 1st gen Dodge Stratus sedan (1995-2000) and the Plymouth Breeze (1995-2000). The three are JA "cloud car" twins under different badges. The pattern also matches the Dodge Neon, the Chrysler PT Cruiser, and the 2nd gen Chrysler Sebring sedan and Sebring convertible (2001-2006, JR platform). A 5x100 wheel built for any of those cars will line up to a Cirrus hub in pattern.
Important: 5x100 is NOT the same as 5x114.3 or 5x115. 5x100 is 14.3mm tighter than 5x114.3 and 15mm tighter than 5x115. None of the larger Chrysler products (300, 300M, Concorde, LHS, Pacifica) will share a wheel with the Cirrus. Also note: the Chrysler Sebring coupe (2001-2005) is a Mitsubishi-built rebadge on 5x114.3, not the JR-platform sedan's 5x100. Even within the Chrysler family the same nameplate can carry two completely different bolt patterns. Compare across the rest of the Chrysler lineup at our Chrysler wheels and rims hub.
Chrysler Cirrus Fitment Detail
The Cirrus is front wheel drive across the entire lineup. It does not accept staggered fitment as a recommended setup. The Cirrus runs square with matching wheel and tire sizes on every corner. Aftermarket diameter runs from 15 inch up to 20 inch in our measured window, with 16 and 17 inch the most common upgrade choices from factory wheels. Factory wheel sizes ran 15 to 16 inch depending on trim, with the LXi receiving the larger factory option. The Cirrus shares its body geometry and brake package very closely with the 1st gen Dodge Stratus sedan and the Plymouth Breeze. They are siblings on the same JA chassis with different fascias.

How We Confirm Fitment on Chrysler Cirrus Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including the Cirrus on the JA cloud car chassis. For the Cirrus that means hub bore confirmation at 57.1mm, clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension at full lock, brake caliper height, lug seat depth, and lug thread confirmation at M12x1.5. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.
The Cirrus is an older platform with a smaller aftermarket footprint today, but the JA chassis shows up often enough across the Stratus and Breeze that we keep the measurements current. That measurement work is what lets us confirm 5x100 / 57.1mm cleanly and warn against the larger Chrysler patterns (5x114.3 on the Concorde / LHS / 300M and 5x115 on the modern 300) that look similar at a glance but do not bolt.
Chrysler Cirrus Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Chrysler Cirrus?
Every Chrysler Cirrus (1995-2000) uses 5x100 with a 57.1mm hub bore. The pattern is uniform across the single generation and every trim. 5x100 is the small to mid-size Chrysler pattern of the 1990s, shared with the 1st gen Dodge Stratus sedan and the Plymouth Breeze (the three JA "cloud cars") plus the Dodge Neon, Chrysler PT Cruiser, and 2001-2006 Chrysler Sebring sedan and convertible.
Will Dodge Stratus or Plymouth Breeze wheels fit my Cirrus?
Pattern yes, fitment confirm. The Cirrus, the 1st gen Dodge Stratus sedan (1995-2000), and the Plymouth Breeze (1995-2000) are JA "cloud car" twins. They sit on the same chassis with the same 5x100 / 57.1mm hub spec, same M12x1.5 lug thread, same square fitment. The wheels bolt to the same hub. Each car has its own factory offset window and brake clearance per trim, so confirm the wheel was fit-tested on the Cirrus specifically.
Will Chrysler Sebring sedan wheels fit my Cirrus?
Bolt pattern lines up on the sedan. The 2001-2006 Chrysler Sebring sedan and Sebring convertible run on the JR platform (the Cirrus's direct replacement) and share the 5x100 / 57.1mm hub family with the Cirrus. The Sebring coupe (2001-2005) is a different car. It is a Mitsubishi-built rebadge on 5x114.3 and will NOT fit a Cirrus. Same nameplate, two completely different bolt patterns. Confirm body style before ordering.
Are Chrysler Cirrus wheels staggered?
No. The Cirrus runs square with matching wheel and tire sizes on every corner. The JA cloud car platform is non-staggered across all trims. The front wheel drive layout on this sedan does not benefit from staggered fitment and we do not recommend it.
What size wheels came on the Chrysler Cirrus from the factory?
Factory wheel sizes on the Cirrus ran 15 to 16 inch depending on trim, with the LXi trim receiving the larger factory wheel. Element aftermarket coverage on the Cirrus runs from 15 inch up to 20 inch, with 16 and 17 inch the most common aftermarket upgrades from the factory wheel.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Chrysler Cirrus?
Our measured aftermarket window tops at 20 inch on the Cirrus. 17 inch and 18 inch are the most popular aftermarket choices on this body. Above 19 inch, the tire sidewall thins to a point where ride quality and curb damage risk both jump sharply, particularly on a body that was not designed for very large diameter wheels at the factory.
What is the hub bore on a Chrysler Cirrus?
Our measured hub bore on the Chrysler Cirrus is 57.1mm across the entire 1995-2000 production run. This matches the rest of the JA cloud car family (Dodge Stratus sedan, Plymouth Breeze) and the later JR platform (Sebring sedan and convertible). If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Chrysler Cirrus?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than the Cirrus's 57.1mm factory hub bore. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
