Every Dodge Nitro (2007-2011) uses a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 71.5mm hub bore, M12x1.5 lug nuts, and 5 lugs. Nut seat (not bolt seat). Square fitment, same width front and rear. Drivetrain (rear wheel drive or four wheel drive) does not change the bolt math. Trim (SXT through Shock) does not change the bolt math. Model year does not change the bolt math. The Nitro is one of the simpler hubs in the late 2000s Dodge lineup. One spec across the whole lineup.

The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers to 5x114.3 (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches). Same pattern, two naming conventions. The Nitro shares this 5x114.3 / 71.5mm hub family with the second generation Jeep Liberty (the 2008-2012 KK Liberty), the Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018), and the Jeep Cherokee XJ from the same era. Important safety note: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as 5x115. The two patterns are separated by 0.7mm and the studs do not line up cleanly. Trim Differences Across the Dodge Nitro

The Nitro's trim ladder is straightforward. SXT is the entry trim, factory 16 or 17 inch wheel depending on year. SLT is the mid trim, 17 inch factory standard. R/T is the performance trim, 20 inch factory wheel with the larger brake package. Heat, Detonator, and Shock are appearance trims layered on top of SXT or SLT, with their own factory wheel options (mostly 17 to 20 inch). Every one of these trims uses the same 5x114.3 / 71.5mm hub. The difference between trims is wheel size, finish, and tire spec, not bolt geometry.

The Nitro accepts a wide aftermarket diameter window. Our measured range runs 16 to 24 inch diameter, with widths from 7 to 9.5 inch. 20 inch is the most common aftermarket Nitro choice, matching the R/T factory diameter while letting customers go wider or run a different style. 22 and 24 inch builds exist on the Nitro and clear inside our measured fitment box, although tire selection at the larger diameters narrows quickly.
