If your California has five mounting points around the hub face, it is 5x114.3 / 67.1mm. The California shares this bolt pattern with the 458 and 488 mid-engine cars, though the offset windows and brake clearance are different enough that we measure and stock California fitments separately.

The California mounts wheels with lug bolts rather than lug nuts on studs. A lug bolt is a single fastener that threads directly into the hub, so the wheel is held to the hub by the bolt itself rather than dropped onto pre-installed studs. The thread spec on the California is M14x1.5. When you order aftermarket wheels for a California, you typically also order Ferrari-spec lug bolts in the correct length for the wheel's mounting face thickness. Why Every Ferrari California Runs Staggered Fitment

The California was Ferrari's front-engine, rear-drive grand tourer. Unlike the mid-engine 458 and 488, the California carries its 4.3-liter (and later 4.3-liter California 30) V8 ahead of the cabin, with power running through a rear transaxle. The rear tires still put down the power and Ferrari specs a wider rear wheel and tire than the front on every California. From the factory the California ran a 20 inch wheel with an 8 inch wide front and a 20x10 rear, paired with 245/40R20 fronts and 285/40R20 rears. The aftermarket window on the California runs 20 to 22 inch in diameter with the same staggered ratio. We do not recommend square setups on a California because the chassis is engineered around the staggered geometry and the rear arches are physically wider than the fronts.

The California has a larger front brake package than rear. That is normal on a performance car of this caliber. The front axle does the majority of the braking work and Ferrari scales the front rotor and caliper accordingly. The front wheel needs more inner-barrel clearance for the larger front caliper, which is one of the variables we measure on the California directly rather than estimating from factory spec sheets. The California shipped with carbon-ceramic brakes as the standard package, which run a slightly larger caliper than the steel-brake configurations on other Ferraris of the era.
