The Ford C-Max Bolt Pattern

The C-Max runs 5x108 with a 63.4mm hub bore across the entire 2013-2018 run. 5x108 is Ford's metric compact-platform pattern, also called 5x4.25 in imperial nickname (108mm equals roughly 4.25 inches). It is the same pattern Ford uses on the 2nd gen Fusion (2013-2020), the modern Escape, the Bronco Sport, and the Maverick on the related C2 platform family. The 63.4mm hub bore is the standard Ford passenger-car hub bore for this generation of compact-platform vehicles.

The detail that trips buyers across Ford's compact lineup. 5x108 is NOT the same as 5x114.3 (which Ford uses on the Mustang, the Ranger, and the older 1st gen Fusion). The two patterns sit about 6.3mm apart at the studs and the wheels do not interchange. A 5x114.3 wheel from a 1st gen Fusion (2006-2012) will not bolt onto a C-Max, and a 5x108 wheel from a C-Max will not bolt onto a Mustang. Always confirm the bolt pattern before ordering. C-Max Hybrid and Energi Plug-In Variants

The North American C-Max came in two variants: the C-Max Hybrid (a full hybrid) and the C-Max Energi (a plug-in hybrid with a larger battery and a charge port). Both share the same C2 chassis, the same 5x108 bolt pattern, the same 63.4mm hub bore, and the same brake package matched front to rear. The Energi's larger battery pack is packaged under the cargo floor and does not change the wheel fitment box. Both ran 17 inch wheels from the factory on most trims, with the aftermarket measured window opening up to 20 inch diameter and a 7.5 to 8.5 inch square width range.

The C-Max runs square (same width front and rear) on every year and every variant. The C-Max is a front-wheel-drive compact where tire rotation between front and rear is part of the maintenance routine, so the aftermarket sticks to square. There is no factory staggered C-Max.
