Crown Vic LX Sport and P71 Police Interceptor

The Crown Vic civilian lineup ran in LX trim, with the LX Sport (introduced in 2003) adding a stiffer suspension tune, dual exhaust, and the firmer rear sway bar borrowed from the police package. The P71 Police Interceptor is the body-on-frame police variant of the same Panther chassis, built for fleet service with heavier-duty cooling, brakes, and suspension. Every one of these variants (civilian LX, LX Sport, P71 Police Interceptor) shares the same 5x114.3 / 70.5mm fitment family. The brake package is matched front-rear across the lineup. There is no Panther-platform Crown Vic with a Brembo-style brake-package split that would change the aftermarket wheel face clearance, which keeps fitment selection straightforward.

The Crown Vic runs square (same width front and rear) on every trim. The Panther platform is a rear-wheel-drive car with the live rear axle, and rotation between front and rear is part of normal tire maintenance, so the aftermarket sticks to square here. There is no factory staggered Crown Vic.
