Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty are the heavy-duty side of the Ford truck lineup, separate from the half-ton F-150 in every meaningful way. The Super Duty is an 8 lug truck (not the F-150's 6 lug). Element Wheels measures the Super Duty across the full production span starting with the 1988 trucks. The 1988-1997 F-250, F-350 SRW, and F-350/F-450 Dually all ran 8x165.1 (also called 8x6.5). Ford redesigned the Super Duty in 1999 and moved the F-250 and F-350 single rear wheel (SRW) trucks to a Ford-specific 8x170 pattern. The F-350 Dually kept 8x170 through 2004 and moved to a dedicated 8x200 pattern with the 2005 trucks. F-450/F-550 Dually in 10-lug 10x225 is its own platform. Factory hub bore is 124.9mm on SRW trucks and 142mm on the modern 8x200 Dually. SRW wheels do not cross to Dually trucks, and the older 8x165.1 wheels do not cross to the 8x170 or 8x200 trucks. Find your truck below.
Setups Super Duty Owners Run
These are the setups that come up most in the more than 20 Super Duty builds in our customer gallery, two rows per truck at most. Sizes are as built, most common first, and builds that rub are left out.

Find Your Ford F-250/F-350 Generation
Pick your Super Duty to see the wheels and rims that fit it. The 1988-1997 trucks ran 8x165.1, single rear wheel trucks have run 8x170 since 1999, and the dually moved to 8x200 with the 2005 trucks, so the duallys have their own pages. Each lift and tire size has its own fitment.
The Ford Super Duty Bolt Pattern Splits Three Ways
The 1988-1997 F-250, F-350 SRW, and F-350/F-450 Dually all ran 8x165.1 (also called 8x6.5) with a 124.9mm factory hub bore. Ford redesigned the Super Duty in 1999 and moved the F-250 and F-350 SRW trucks to a Ford-specific 8x170 pattern, keeping the 124.9mm hub bore. F-350 Dually trucks ran 8x170 from 1999 through 2004, then moved to a dedicated 8x200 pattern with a 142mm hub bore starting with the 2005 trucks. The 8x200 has held on the modern 8-Lug F-350/F-450 Dually through every generation since. F-450/F-550 Dually with 10 lugs is a separate platform on 10x225 with its own hub spec.
Three things matter for the buyer. First, SRW wheels (8x170) do NOT bolt to modern Dually trucks (8x200), and vice versa. Confirm SRW or Dually before ordering. Second, wheels from a 1988-1997 truck (8x165.1) will NOT bolt to a 1999 or newer SRW truck (8x170), and they will NOT bolt to a 2005 or newer 8-Lug Dually (8x200). All three patterns are 8 lug but the bolt circles are different and the studs do not line up. Third, the Super Duty is a completely different platform from the F-150. The F-150 uses a 6 lug 6x135 pattern (or older 5 lug). An F-150 wheel will never fit a Super Duty and vice versa. Lug count is the fastest check. Compare against the rest of the Ford lineup at our Ford wheels and rims hub.
Why Super Duty Fitment Is Lift-Driven
The Super Duty is one of the most aggressively lifted platforms in our catalog. Customers run leveling kits, 3.5-4 inch lifts, 4-5 inch lifts, 6-6.5 inch lifts, and 8 inch lifts on these trucks. Each lift height changes the wheel offset window the truck accepts, because the suspension geometry, the inner liner clearance, and the room between the tire and the upper control arm all shift as the truck comes up. The tire size you intend to run (33, 35, 37, 38, even 40 inch) layers another fitment row on top of the lift. We track each lift-and-tire combination as its own row in the catalog. On the 2023 and newer trucks we track the Tremor 4WD as its own row separate from the standard F-250/F-350 because Tremor offset latitude differs from the regular truck.
Dually trucks live in a different fitment universe. The Dually rear wheel mounts behind the outer hub face and the front wheel sits on the standard hub, so the front and rear run different offsets by design. This is not a problem to fix; it is how a Dually has to be set up. Our Dually pages cover the SRW-style front and dually-style rear pair correctly for every Super Duty Dually we have measured.
Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty
Factory specs across the Super Duty platforms:
- 1988-1997 F-250 / F-350 SRW / F-350/F-450 Dually: 8x165.1 (8x6.5) bolt pattern, 124.9mm factory hub bore, 8 lug.
- 1999-2010 F-250 / F-350 SRW: 8x170 bolt pattern, 124.9mm factory hub bore, 8 lug. Per-lift catalog rows: stock, leveled, 3.5-4 in. lift, 4-5 in. lift, 6-6.5 in. lift, 8 in. lift; per-tire 35, 37, 38, 40 in.
- 2011-2016, 2017-2022, 2023+ F-250 / F-350 SRW: 8x170 bolt pattern, 124.9mm factory hub bore, 8 lug. Same per-lift / per-tire catalog tracking as the earlier 8x170 trucks. 2023+ Tremor 4WD as its own row.
- 2005 and up F-350/F-450 Dually (8-Lug): 8x200 bolt pattern, 142mm factory hub bore, 8 lug. Front and rear fitments measured separately by hub-mounting position.
- F-450/F-550 Dually (10-Lug): 10x225 bolt pattern, 10 lug. Separate hub spec from the 8-Lug Dually.
For your exact aftermarket offset on a stock, leveled, or lifted Super Duty, three options:
- 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific F-250 or F-350 (each listing shows its own offset).
- 2. Browse the Super Duty wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
- 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.
What Super Duty Owners Order
In our 2026 orders, Hostile led the Super Duty wheels owners chose (the H116 Jigsaw, H123 Typhoon, H108 Sprocket, H135 Ridgecrest and H113 Rage), followed by Fuel Off-Road (Surge, Blitz and Rebel 8). Most of those trucks were leveled or lifted, most often for 35 or 37 inch tires.
To buy the set with tires, see our wheel and tire packages.
How We Confirm Fitment on Ford Super Duty Wheels
Our team measures fitment on the trucks at our Chandler, Arizona facility: clearance to the fender and the suspension, brake caliper height, the 124.9mm SRW hub and the 142mm dually hub, and tire clearance at full lock once the truck is leveled or lifted with the tire size you plan to run. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.
That measurement work is why the catalog tracks the SRW (8x170) and the modern 8-Lug Dually (8x200) as separate fitment universes, and why each lift height and tire size on the SRW trucks is its own catalog row. Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
Ford F-250/F-350 Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty?
It depends on year and body. The 1988-1997 F-250, F-350 SRW, and F-350/F-450 Dually all ran 8x165.1 (also called 8x6.5) with a 124.9mm factory hub bore. From 1999 onward, F-250 and F-350 SRW use a Ford-specific 8x170 pattern with the same 124.9mm factory hub bore. F-350/F-450 Dually moved to a dedicated 8x200 pattern with a 142mm factory hub bore starting with the 2005 trucks. F-450/F-550 Dually with 10 lugs is a separate platform on 10x225. Wheels do not cross between any of these patterns.
Will F-150 wheels fit my F-250 or F-350?
No. The F-150 is a 6 lug truck (6x135 on 2004 and newer, 5x135 on 1997-2003, 5x139.7 on pre-1997). The F-250 and F-350 Super Duty are 8 lug trucks (8x170 on 1999 and newer SRW, 8x200 on 2005 and newer 8-Lug Dually, 8x165.1 on the 1988-1997 trucks). Different lug counts, different bolt patterns, completely different platforms. F-150 wheels will not fit a Super Duty and Super Duty wheels will not fit an F-150.
Will my SRW wheels fit a Dually truck?
Not on the 2005 and newer trucks. The modern 8-Lug F-350/F-450 Dually uses 8x200 with a 142mm factory hub bore. Modern F-250/F-350 SRW use 8x170 with a 124.9mm factory hub bore. Different bolt circles, different hub bores. The 1988-1997 trucks (8x165.1) and the 1999-2004 trucks (8x170) used the same bolt pattern on SRW and Dually, so the bolt pattern crossed on those older trucks, but the Dually still mounts wheels differently (front-vs-rear hub position) so dimensions still differ.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on my Super Duty?
On a stock height F-250/F-350 SRW (1999 and newer), 26 inch is at the top of our measured catalog window. Leveled trucks running 35 or 37 inch tires top out around 24 inch. Lifted trucks (4 inch and up) on 37 to 40 inch tires also top out around 24 inch because the larger tire diameter eats the room a larger wheel would need. The 8-Lug Dually trucks run a separate window biased toward 16 to 26 inch with widths from 6 to 9 inches because of the Dually hub mounting math. Pick your generation and suspension setup above to see the measured window for your truck.
Are Super Duty wheels staggered?
The SRW trucks run a square (non-staggered) fitment. Dually trucks are not staggered in the conventional sense, but the front wheel and rear wheel run different offsets because of how the Dually outer hub face sits on the rear axle. A Dually fitment is two different wheels (or sets of wheels) per axle, by design. Both the F-350 and F-450 8-Lug Dually pages in our catalog cover the front-and-rear pair correctly.
