The Windstar runs 5x108 with a 63.36mm hub bore across every year, 1995 through 2003. 5x108 carries the 5x4.25 imperial nickname (108mm equals roughly 4.25 inches), the Ford metric pattern Ford used on the 1986-2006 Taurus, the Mercury Sable, the original Lincoln Continental, and the contemporary Ford Tempo. The Windstar sat in the Ford metric minivan slot and inherited that pattern from the Taurus chassis family that preceded it.

The detail buyers also miss. 5x108 is NOT the same as 5x114.3 even though they look similar on a spec sheet. 5x108 is the Ford metric pattern (5x4.25). 5x114.3 is the standard imperial 5-lug pattern Ford uses on the modern Mustang, the Crown Victoria, and the renamed 2010-and-newer Taurus. The two patterns sit 6.3mm apart at the studs and the wheels do not interchange. A 5x114.3 wheel from a Crown Vic or a modern Mustang does not bolt onto a Windstar. The Windstar was renamed Freestar for the 2004 model year alongside a chassis refresh. The Freestar (2004-2007) is a separate model line in our catalog with its own fitment hub. If your van is a 2004 or newer Ford minivan, it is a Freestar, not a Windstar.

The Windstar ran in standard, GL, LX, SE, SEL, and Limited trims across its production, with the 3.0 liter Vulcan V6 on the base end and the 3.8 liter Essex V6 on the higher trims. From a fitment standpoint, the trim level and engine choice do not change the wheel fitment window on a Windstar. The brake package is matched front to rear across the lineup (no Brembo-style front-rotor split) and the Windstar is a front-wheel-drive minivan throughout (no AWD variant in the US-market 1st or 2nd gen).
