From the 2020 model year forward, Genesis Motors became a standalone brand and the G90 is now sold as a standalone Genesis flagship. The platform jumped from the original HI chassis (2017-2019) to the RS4 chassis (2020-2022) and then to the current RS5 chassis (2023 and up). The bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug spec did NOT change across the brand transition: every G90 from 2017 forward runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore, an M12x1.5 thread, and a 5 lug count. Every Genesis G90 from 2017 and up runs a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 67.1mm hub bore. The imperial nickname for this pattern is 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches exactly. The lug count is 5, the thread pitch is M12x1.5, and the recommended factory torque is in the same range as the rest of the Hyundai Motor Group rear-drive sedans (always confirm against your owner manual for your exact year). The bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug spec did not change across the 2020 rebrand from Hyundai-Genesis to standalone Genesis. A 2017 G90 hub and a 2024 G90 hub use the same wheel architecture.

One detail worth flagging because we have seen it confuse buyers. 5x114.3 is NOT the same pattern as 5x115. The two sit roughly 0.7mm apart on the hub circle and a wheel built for one will not properly seat on the other. The G90 is 5x114.3 only. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers to 5x114.3 specifically (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches). The 5x115 pattern lives on some American sedans (Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Challenger, Cadillac CTS, etc.) and those wheels will not fit your G90. When you are shopping, confirm the wheel listing says 5x114.3 specifically. The imperial form of this same pattern is 5x4.5. Why the 2020 Genesis Rebrand Does Not Change the Wheel Choice

Genesis went through a brand-history transition in the late 2010s that can confuse cross-shoppers. The 2017-2019 G90 was sold by Hyundai under the "Genesis" sub-brand name (sometimes called the Hyundai-Genesis era), and Hyundai-branded dealerships sold it. From the 2020 model year forward, Genesis Motors became a fully standalone luxury brand with its own dealer network, branding, and visual identity. The chassis and platform also evolved across this transition: 2017-2019 sat on the HI chassis, and 2020 and up moved to the RS4 / RS5 chassis with refreshed styling and updated underpinnings. None of that changed the wheel architecture. Every G90 from 2017 forward shares the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern, the same 67.1mm hub bore, and the same M12x1.5 lug nut thread. If you are shopping used and you find a set of OEM 2018 G90 wheels, they will bolt onto a 2024 G90 hub.

What does shift slightly across the two generations is the factory offset window and the brake clearance, because the RS4/RS5 chassis runs a slightly different suspension geometry than the HI. Both generations ship with front-larger-than-rear factory brakes, which is the normal configuration on a performance flagship sedan where the front brake handles the bulk of the braking force. The optional factory staggered configuration (slightly wider rear) carried through both generations.
