The Honda Element Bolt Pattern

Every Honda Element from the 2003 model year through 2011 runs the same bolt pattern: 5x114.3. The hub bore is 64.1mm. The thread pitch is M12x1.5 on a 5-lug hub. Those numbers do not shift between EX and SC trims and they do not shift across the production run. The Element is the rare Honda nameplate where the bolt pattern question has one answer covering the full lifetime of the platform.

One detail worth flagging because it confuses buyers on Honda 5-lug platforms. 5x114.3 is NOT the same pattern as 5x115. The two sit roughly 0.7mm apart on the hub circle and a wheel built for one will not properly seat on the other. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers to 5x114.3 only (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches exactly). The 5x115 pattern lives on some American sedans like the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger and those wheels will not fit your Element. Why the Element Fitment Box Matters

The Element is built on the same Honda crossover platform as the 2002-2006 CR-V (RD7) and shares the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, the 64.1mm hub bore, and the M12x1.5 thread with that platform. The two trucks look very different from the outside (the Element with its boxy body, plastic cladding, and clamshell rear doors, the CR-V with the conventional small-SUV body), but the hub is the same Honda piece underneath. That gives the Element a wider modern wheel selection than most boxy cult-following vehicles in the same age bracket. The EX and SC trims share the same wheel decision as well. The SC (Special Coupe) is a trim package, not a chassis change.
