Every Infiniti EX35 runs the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, also called 5x4.5 imperial (114.3mm = 4.5 inches exactly), with a 66.1mm factory hub bore and 12x1.25 lug thread. The pattern is consistent across all five EX35 model years. The EX35 sits on the Nissan FM platform, the same architecture used under the Nissan 350Z (2003-2009) and 370Z (2009-2020), the Infiniti G35 / G37 sedan and coupe, and the Infiniti FX line. Bolt math matches across the FM-platform family. Track widths, ride heights, and fender profiles vary between a compact crossover, a midsize crossover, a sedan, and a sports coupe, so wheels do not just cross between an EX35 and a 370Z even though the lug holes line up. A cross-pattern caution that applies to every 5x114.3 platform: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as the 5x115 pattern used on Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, and similar American sedans. The two patterns sit roughly 0.7mm apart and are not interchangeable, even though the difference sounds tiny. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers only to 5x114.3 (because 114.3mm = 4.5 inches exactly). Calling 5x115 "5x4.5" is wrong and forcing a 5x115 wheel onto a 5x114.3 hub puts the stud loading off-center, which is a safety issue. Stick to wheels listed for 5x114.3 specifically.

Infiniti renamed the EX35 to QX50 for the 2014 model year under the Q-and-QX naming convention change, when the alphanumeric format (EX, FX, G, M) was retired and Infiniti cars moved to Q-and-QX. The 2014 QX50 J50 is the carried-forward EX35 chassis under the new badge. Specs and chassis stayed the same at the rename. The 1st gen QX50 ran 2014-2018 on the same FM-platform architecture, and the 2nd gen QX50 (2019 and up) is a clean-sheet redesign on a transverse-engine front-drive-based platform, an entirely new vehicle. Why the EX35 Supports Staggered When the FX Does Not

The EX35 sits at the compact, more car-like end of the Infiniti crossover line. Infiniti positioned it closer to the G37 sedan in driving feel than to the FX. The platform supports optional staggered fitment, where a wider rear wheel sits behind a slightly narrower front. The catalog shows a front-rear width split available on the EX35, unlike the larger FX and QX70 crossovers that run square only. The EX35 was offered with RWD as the base configuration and AWD as the option. If you have AWD, the safest call is to stay close to a square setup or run a moderate stagger that keeps rolling diameter matched, because any AWD car is sensitive to rolling-diameter mismatch between front and rear. If you have the RWD EX35, the stagger option opens up cleanly.

Most aftermarket EX35 builds land at 19 or 20 inch. The car ships from the factory in the 18 inch range and the aftermarket step up is one or two inches. 22 inch is reachable on this platform but only with the right offset and tire profile to keep the wheel inside the fender and the ride quality on the car's design intent.
