Infiniti G35 and G37 Sedan Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Infiniti G35 Sedan and G37 Sedan are the two badges Infiniti applied to its compact luxury sport sedan from 2003 through the 2013 model year, before the 2014 renaming to Q40 and Q50. Element Wheels measures fitment across both nameplates and both chassis generations. The G35 Sedan launched on the V35 chassis in 2003 and ran through 2007, with a one-year V36 chassis transition in 2008. The G37 Sedan continued on the V36 chassis from 2008 through 2013, when Infiniti renamed the lineup. The 2014 Q40 is the V36 G37 Sedan carried forward under the new badge for two more model years before the all-new Q50 took over the lineup. Every G35 and G37 Sedan runs 5x114.3 (also called 5x4.5 imperial) with a 66.1mm hub bore, so the bolt pattern is consistent across the platform. The G37 Sport carries a larger brake package that narrows the inner-barrel clearance window. The closely related G35 Coupe and G37 Coupe live on a separate hub because the offset windows and diameter ranges differ across the body styles.
Find Your Infiniti G35 or G37 Sedan
Pick your nameplate, chassis generation, and trim to see wheels and rims that fit your specific car. The bolt pattern is 5x114.3 / 66.1mm hub bore across every G35 and G37 Sedan. Trim matters on the V36 G37: the G37 Sport ships with a larger brake package than the base G37, and the inner-barrel clearance window is tighter.
The G35/G37 Sedan Bolt Pattern and the V35-to-V36-to-Q40 Lineage
Every Infiniti G35 Sedan and G37 Sedan from 2003 through 2013 runs 5x114.3, also called 5x4.5 imperial (114.3mm = 4.5 inches exactly), with a 66.1mm factory hub bore. The pattern is consistent across both nameplates, both chassis generations (V35 and V36), and every trim. A wheel built for one G35/G37 Sedan variant will bolt onto another at the lug-hole level. What changes between variants is brake clearance, the V35-vs-V36 chassis geometry, and the trim-specific clearance window on the G37 Sport, not the bolt math.
A cross-pattern caution that applies to every 5x114.3 platform: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as the 5x115 pattern used on Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, and similar American sedans. The two patterns sit roughly 0.7mm apart and are not interchangeable, even though the difference sounds tiny. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers only to 5x114.3 (because 114.3mm = 4.5 inches exactly). Calling 5x115 "5x4.5" is wrong and forcing a 5x115 wheel onto a 5x114.3 hub puts the stud loading off-center, which is a safety issue. Stick to wheels listed for 5x114.3 specifically.
The G35 Sedan launched in 2003 on the V35 chassis as Infiniti's compact luxury sport sedan, with a 3.5L V6 borrowed from the Nissan 350Z chassis underneath. In 2007 Infiniti moved the G35 Sedan onto the all-new V36 chassis for the 2007 and 2008 model years. For 2008 Infiniti dropped the 3.5L engine for the 3.7L VQ37VHR, renamed the car to the G37 Sedan, and kept the V36 chassis. The G37 Sedan then ran from 2008 through 2013. In 2014 Infiniti renamed the lineup to Q40 and Q50: the 2014-2015 Q40 is the carry-forward V36 G37 Sedan under the new badge, while the all-new Q50 launched alongside it. The Q40 was discontinued after 2015 and the Q50 ran through 2024. If you have a 2014 or 2015 Q40, the wheels for it sit on the Q40/Q50 Sedan hub. The G35 Coupe and G37 Coupe live on a separate G35/G37 Coupe hub because the offset windows and diameter ranges differ across the body styles. Compare across the rest of the Infiniti lineup at our Infiniti wheels and rims hub.
Why the G37 Sport Brake Package Changes the Wheel Window
The V36 G37 Sedan splits into base and G37 Sport. The G37 Sport ships with a larger brake package than the base G37, and that larger front caliper takes more inner clearance behind the front wheel face. That is normal on a sport variant of a luxury sedan. The front axle does the majority of the braking work, and Infiniti scales the front rotor and caliper accordingly when the sport variant gets a stiffer suspension and additional power. We measure the G37 Sport separately for that reason. The G35 Sedan generations and the base G37 Sedan run the standard brake package.
Across Element's measured G35/G37 Sedan rows, every configuration supports optional staggered fitment as well as a square setup. That gives the G35/G37 Sedan more flexibility than the AWD Q50 successor, which is non-staggered. The G35/G37 Sedan ships square front and rear from the factory across the lineup, but aftermarket staggered builds are common on this platform as a styling choice and the chassis accepts the wider rear without issue. If you are running the G35x or G37x AWD variant, contact our team to confirm staggered fitment specifics for your specific drivetrain.

How We Confirm Fitment on Infiniti G35 and G37 Sedan Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including every G35 and G37 Sedan chassis generation and trim. For this platform that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height (base brake vs G37 Sport brake), hub protrusion, lug seat depth, and the optional-staggered front-vs-rear fitment that every G35/G37 Sedan row supports. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do. That measurement work is what produced the chassis-specific and trim-specific fitment windows on this page.
Infiniti G35 and G37 Sedan Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on an Infiniti G35 or G37 Sedan?
Every Infiniti G35 Sedan (2003-2008) and G37 Sedan (2008-2013) runs 5x114.3 (also called 5x4.5 imperial, because 114.3mm = 4.5 inches exactly) with a 66.1mm hub bore. The pattern is consistent across both nameplates, both chassis generations (V35 and V36), and every trim. What changes between variants is brake clearance and the chassis geometry, not the bolt math.
V35 vs V36 G35 Sedan: how do I tell them apart?
By model year. The V35 G35 Sedan ran from 2003 through 2007 model year. The V36 G35 Sedan launched as a refresh covering the 2007 and 2008 model years before Infiniti renamed the car to G37 Sedan for the 2008 model year forward. The V35 and V36 are different chassis with different track widths, fender profiles, and brake packages. A wheel that fit a V35 will not always sit the same on a V36, and the diameter floor on the V36 starts at 17 inch where the V35 supports 16 inch. If you have a 2007 G35 Sedan, the VIN identifies which chassis: V35 cars have the older interior and bodywork, V36 cars have the all-new interior introduced in 2007.
Is the G37 Sedan the same car as the 2014 Q40?
Yes. The 2014-2015 Q40 is the V36 G37 Sedan carried forward under the new badge, with chassis, drivetrain, and fitment characteristics unchanged from the 2008-2013 G37 Sedan. Infiniti changed its naming convention for the 2014 model year, moving from the alphanumeric format (G37, M37, FX35) to the Q-and-QX scheme. The Q40 ran for the 2014 and 2015 model years before being discontinued. The all-new Q50 launched alongside the Q40 in 2014 and ran through the 2024 model year. If you have a 2014 or 2015 Q40, the wheel fitment is identical to the 2013 G37 Sedan and either hub will guide you to the same wheels.
Does the G37 Sport brake package change the wheels I can buy?
The bolt pattern and hub bore are the same as a base G37 Sedan (5x114.3 / 66.1mm). What changes is front brake clearance. The G37 Sport ships with a larger brake package, and the front caliper takes more inner clearance behind the wheel face. The smallest measured diameter on the G37 Sport is 18 inch, where the base G37 supports 17 inch. Most aftermarket G37 Sport builds land at 19 or 20 inch.
Will G35 Coupe wheels fit my G35 Sedan?
The bolt pattern crosses. Both the G35 Sedan and the G35 Coupe run 5x114.3 / 66.1mm. But fitment is not identical. The G35 Coupe has a different track width and fender profile than the G35 Sedan, and the coupe's diameter window goes wider than the sedan's. A wheel sized for a G35 Coupe will not always sit the same on a G35 Sedan, particularly at the wider widths the coupe accepts. We measure each body style separately and the Year/Make/Model search returns only wheels fit-tested on your specific car.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a G35 or G37 Sedan?
Our Element-measured aftermarket window tops at 20 inch across every G35 and G37 Sedan variant. Most aftermarket G37 Sedan builds land at 19 or 20 inch. The V35 G35 Sedan accepts smaller diameters going back to 16 inch for OEM-replacement builds. Above 20 inch the tire sidewall thins enough that ride quality on the sport sedan chassis drops sharply, and the inner-barrel design starts running out of room for the G37 Sport caliper.
Do I need hub centric rings on an Infiniti G35 or G37 Sedan?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 66.1mm. The 66.1mm hub bore is consistent across every G35 and G37 Sedan chassis generation and trim. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
How do I find the right wheels for my specific G35 or G37 Sedan build?
Three steps. Confirm your nameplate (G35 Sedan 2003-2008 or G37 Sedan 2008-2013). Confirm your chassis (V35 for 2003-2007, V36 for 2007 model-year onward). Confirm your trim (base G35, base G37, or G37 Sport with the larger brake package). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific car and browse the wheel gallery for real-life G35 and G37 Sedan builds. If you have a G37 Sport, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
