Kia Carnival Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Kia Carnival is Kia's 3-row minivan, on sale in the United States from the 2022 model year and up. The Carnival replaced the Sedona nameplate in the US market and arrived on a fresh Hyundai-Kia N3 platform that shares architecture with the Telluride and the Palisade from the same corporate family. Every Carnival in our catalog uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore, an M12x1.5 thread, and 5 lugs. The fitment box does not change between the LX, EX, SX, and SX Prestige trims. The Carnival Hybrid arrived for the 2025 model year and runs the same wheel spec as the gasoline Carnival. The Carnival is currently produced and the aftermarket window grows as we measure newer model year cars. Pick your trim below for the fitment specs that apply to your Carnival.

Find Your Kia Carnival Fitment

Pick your trim to see wheels and rims that fit your specific Carnival. The 5x114.3 / 67.1mm bolt pattern and the square (non-staggered) fitment hold across every Carnival, including the SX Prestige and the Carnival Hybrid added for 2025. If your minivan is a 2021 or older Kia Sedona, the right hub is the Sedona hub, not the Carnival hub.

The Kia Carnival Bolt Pattern

Every Kia Carnival (2022 and up) runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore. The imperial nickname for this pattern is 5x4.5, because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches exactly. The lug count is 5 and the thread pitch is M12x1.5. The pattern does not change between the LX, EX, SX, and SX Prestige trims, and it does not change between the gasoline Carnival and the Carnival Hybrid added for the 2025 model year. The 67.1mm hub bore is the Hyundai-Kia midsize and large-vehicle standard, the same hub bore used on the Kia Telluride and the Hyundai Palisade from the corporate sibling lineup, and the same hub bore used on the K5 sedan and the Sportage crossover. The Carnival, Telluride, and Palisade share the Hyundai-Kia N3 platform, so the bolt pattern and hub bore cross between these three cars by design.

One detail to flag because we see it confuse buyers. 5x114.3 is NOT the same pattern as 5x115. The two sit roughly 0.7mm apart on the hub circle and a wheel built for one will not seat correctly on the other. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers to 5x114.3 only. The 5x115 pattern used on some American sedans (Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, Cadillac CTS, and others) is a different pattern and those wheels will not fit your Carnival. When you are shopping, confirm the wheel listing says 5x114.3 specifically. Compare across the rest of the Kia lineup at our Kia wheels and rims hub.

Carnival Trims, the Hybrid, and Why Tire Load Rating Matters

The Carnival lineup runs four core trims in the US market: LX, EX, SX, and SX Prestige. SX Prestige is the top trim with the larger factory wheels and the premium interior package. The Carnival Hybrid was added for the 2025 model year as an additional powertrain option across the trim ladder. Every Carnival, regardless of trim or powertrain, uses 5x114.3 with the 67.1mm hub bore and runs a square (same width front and rear) fitment in our catalog. There is no factory stagger on the Carnival and the aftermarket window respects that. Brake hardware is consistent across the trims in our catalog, so the wheel that fits an LX also fits an SX Prestige bolt-pattern-wise and clears the brake-wise.

The Carnival is a long-wheelbase 3-row MPV and weighs more than a comparable 3-row crossover because of the body style and seating capacity. That weight changes which tires we recommend more than which wheels we recommend. The tire load rating for a wheel and tire package on a Carnival needs to support the curb weight plus a full passenger load, and we publish package load ratings that account for the minivan chassis. The wheel diameter and width windows stay inside the published box. Stepping up to 22 inch on a Carnival is the visual move many buyers want; staying at 18 to 20 inch is the daily-driver choice that protects sidewall height for the heavier vehicle.

Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Kia Carnival

Publishable factory and wheel specs across the Carnival lineup:

  • 2022 and Up Kia Carnival (LX, EX, SX, SX Prestige): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore, M12x1.5 thread, 5 lug. Element aftermarket diameter range: 18 to 22 inch. Aftermarket width range: 7 to 9 inch front, 7 to 9 inch rear. Square (non-staggered) fitment.
  • 2025 and Up Kia Carnival Hybrid: 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore, M12x1.5 thread, 5 lug. Same fitment box as the gasoline Carnival. The hybrid powertrain does not change wheel fitment.

For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:

  • 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Carnival (each listing shows its own offset).
  • 2. Browse the Kia Carnival wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
  • 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.

Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.

How We Confirm Fitment on Kia Carnival Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including the current Kia Carnival. For the Carnival that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height, hub bore confirmation on the 67.1mm Hyundai-Kia hub, lug seat geometry, and turning clearance at full lock with the wheel and tire installed. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.

That measurement work is what produced the trim-specific fitment window on this page. The Carnival is currently produced, so the catalog grows as we measure newer model year cars and the Hybrid trim added for 2025. The bolt pattern, hub bore, thread, and lug count are confirmed against the Hyundai-Kia N3 platform spec and consistent with the corporate siblings Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade.

Kia Carnival Wheels and Rims FAQ

What is the bolt pattern on a Kia Carnival?

Every Kia Carnival from 2022 and up runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore. The imperial nickname is 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches. The lug count is 5 and the thread pitch is M12x1.5. The bolt pattern does not change between the LX, EX, SX, and SX Prestige trims, and it does not change between the gasoline Carnival and the Carnival Hybrid added for 2025.

Is the Carnival the same as the Sedona?

No. The Carnival replaced the Sedona nameplate in the US market starting with the 2022 model year, but the Carnival is a different car on a different chassis. The current 2022 and up Carnival sits on the Hyundai-Kia N3 platform shared with the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade. The 2015-2021 Sedona was also 5x114.3 / 67.1mm and is a similar fitment family bolt-pattern-wise, but the chassis, suspension geometry, brake hardware, and offset window are different. If your minivan is a 2021 or older Sedona, view Sedona fitment at /wheels/kia/sedona.

Will Kia Telluride or Hyundai Palisade wheels fit my Carnival?

Pattern yes, fitment confirm. The Carnival, Kia Telluride, and Hyundai Palisade are platform siblings on the Hyundai-Kia N3 large-vehicle architecture. All three cars run 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore, 5 lug, M12x1.5 thread. A wheel that bolts to a Telluride or Palisade physically bolts to a Carnival. Offset window, brake clearance, and final fitment box still differ between the three cars because the bodies and suspension geometry are different. We measure each car separately at our Chandler, Arizona facility.

Does the Carnival Hybrid take different wheels than the gasoline Carnival?

No. The Carnival Hybrid added for the 2025 model year runs the same 5x114.3 / 67.1mm bolt pattern and hub bore, the same brake spec, and the same aftermarket diameter and width window as the gasoline Carnival of the same trim. The hybrid powertrain does not change wheel fitment. A wheel that fits a gasoline Carnival EX fits a hybrid Carnival EX.

Are Kia Carnival wheels staggered?

No. The Carnival runs a square (non-staggered) fitment from the factory and our aftermarket window respects that. Front and rear widths match. Square fitment also makes tire rotation possible across all four corners, which extends tire life on a vehicle that carries the weight of a 3-row minivan.

What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Kia Carnival?

Our measured aftermarket window tops at 22 inch on the Carnival. 22 inch is the common upgrade for buyers chasing visual presence on the minivan proportions; 20 inch is the balanced daily-driver choice; 18 inch is the smallest factory size and a popular pick for buyers who prioritize ride quality and tire sidewall. Above 22 inch, fender clearance and tire load-rating tradeoffs get tight on the Carnival and we do not measure 24 inch as a standard fitment for this car.

Does the Carnival need a different tire because it is a 3-row minivan?

The tire load rating matters more on a Carnival than on a comparable 3-row crossover because the minivan body style and long wheelbase carry more curb weight, and the tire on each corner has to support that weight plus a full passenger load. When we build a wheel and tire package for the Carnival, we confirm the tire load rating supports the Carnival's curb weight and a full passenger load. The wheel diameter and width windows do not change, but the tire spec on the package does.

Do I need hub centric rings on a Kia Carnival?

Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 67.1mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.

Get Kia Carnival Wheels Right the First Time

Pick your fitment above to see wheels and rims that fit. We measure the Carnival on the Hyundai-Kia N3 platform shared with the Telluride and Palisade. The 5x114.3 / 67.1mm pattern stays the same across trims and across the Hybrid added for 2025. Tire load rating is where the minivan chassis asks for attention; the wheel windows stay the same. Find your fit and start enjoying your build sooner.
