Kia Forte Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Kia Forte was Kia's compact sedan in the US market from the 2010 model year through the 2024 model year. Kia ended production after the 2024 MY and replaced the Forte nameplate with the Kia K4 for the 2025 model year, so the Forte covers a closed 15-year run across three generations: the 1st gen TD (2010-2013), the 2nd gen YD (2014-2018), and the final 3rd gen BD (2019-2024). Element Wheels measures fitment across all three generations. Every Forte uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and a square (same width front and rear) fitment. Trim variation including the GT does not change the fitment box in our catalog. Pick your generation below for the wheel and rim recommendations.

Find Your Kia Forte Generation

Pick your generation to see wheels and rims that fit your specific Forte. The bolt pattern (5x114.3) and hub bore (67.1mm) have stayed constant across the TD, YD, and BD generations. The aftermarket diameter window steps up with each generation as factory wheel sizes grew.

The Kia Forte Bolt Pattern

Every Kia Forte in our catalog runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore. That covers the 1st gen TD (2010-2013), the 2nd gen YD (2014-2018), and the final 3rd gen BD (2019-2024). The 5x114.3 pattern is also written as 5x4.5 in imperial; 5x4.5 refers ONLY to 5x114.3 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches exactly. It does NOT refer to 5x115, which is a different bolt pattern used on American sedans like the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Challenger, and Cadillac CTS. The two patterns sit about 0.7mm apart on the hub circle and are not interchangeable. A 5x115 wheel will not bolt onto a Forte. Confirm the wheel listing says 5x114.3 specifically.

The 67.1mm hub bore is the Hyundai-Kia compact and midsize standard. Other 5x114.3 vehicles in the Hyundai-Kia family (Kia Soul, Kia K5, Kia Sportage, Hyundai Elantra, Hyundai Tucson, and others) all run 5x114.3 / 67.1mm, so wheels listed for those vehicles bolt to the Forte hub. What does not always cross is the offset window and brake clearance, which we measure on each car separately at our Chandler, Arizona facility. Compare across the rest of the Kia lineup at our Kia wheels and rims hub.

Forte Trims and the Move to the Kia K4

Across the Forte's run Kia offered base trims (LX, EX, S, FE) and sportier trims (Forte5, Koup, GT, GT-Line). Every Forte we measure runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and a square fitment, and our published aftermarket fitment box is the same across trims within a generation. The GT trim on the BD generation does ship with a sportier suspension tune and a more aggressive factory wheel, but our catalog measures the same brake clearance and the same diameter and width window for the GT as for the rest of the BD lineup. If you have a BD Forte GT and you are concerned about brake clearance at a smaller-than-stock aftermarket diameter, contact our team and we will confirm fitment against your specific build before you order.

Kia ended Forte production after the 2024 model year and replaced the nameplate with the Kia K4 for the 2025 model year. The K4 is a different car on a different platform; it is not a refresh of the BD Forte. If your sedan is a 2025 or newer K4, the right hub is the K4 hub on our site (when listed) and not this Forte hub. The Forte aftermarket window in our catalog is now stable because Kia is not producing more Fortes; the wheel sizes and widths we publish here will not change.

Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Kia Forte

Publishable factory and wheel specs across the Forte generations:

  • 1st Gen TD (2010-2013): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore. Element aftermarket diameter range: 15-18 inch. Aftermarket width range: 6-7.5 inch square. Forte sedan, Forte5 hatch, and Forte Koup share spec.
  • 2nd Gen YD (2014-2018): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore. Element aftermarket diameter range: 16-19 inch. Aftermarket width range: 6.5-7.5 inch square.
  • 3rd Gen BD (2019-2024): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore. Element aftermarket diameter range: 17-20 inch. Aftermarket width range: 7-8 inch square. LX, S, GT-Line, and GT trims share the catalog fitment box.

For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:

  • 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Forte (each listing shows its own offset).
  • 2. Browse the Forte wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
  • 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.

Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.

How We Confirm Fitment on Kia Forte Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including every Forte generation from the TD through the final BD. For the Forte that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height, hub bore confirmation on the 67.1mm Hyundai-Kia hub, lug stud height, and turning clearance at full lock with the wheel and tire installed. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.

That measurement work is what produced the generation-specific fitment windows on this page. The Forte ended production after the 2024 model year, so the aftermarket window is now stable. The wheel sizes and widths we publish here are final because Kia is not refreshing the chassis.

Kia Forte Wheels and Rims FAQ

What is the bolt pattern on a Kia Forte?

5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore on every Kia Forte from the 1st gen TD (2010-2013) through the final 3rd gen BD (2019-2024). The pattern is also written as 5x4.5 in imperial. The bolt pattern and hub bore have not changed across any Forte generation.

Is 5x114.3 the same as 5x115 on a Kia Forte?

No. 5x114.3 and 5x115 are different bolt patterns and the wheels do not interchange. The Forte is 5x114.3 only. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers to 5x114.3 specifically (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches). The 5x115 pattern lives on American sedans like the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Cadillac CTS, and those wheels will not fit your Forte. Confirm the wheel listing says 5x114.3.

Does the Forte GT use different wheels than the base Forte?

Same bolt pattern, same hub bore, same fitment box in our catalog. The BD Forte GT ships with a sportier suspension tune and a more aggressive factory wheel than the base BD Forte, but our measurements show the same 5x114.3 / 67.1mm spec, the same brake clearance, and the same aftermarket diameter and width window across BD trims. If you have a BD Forte GT and you are dropping below 17 inch on an aftermarket wheel, contact our team and we will confirm fitment against your specific build before you order.

What about the Forte5 hatchback and the Forte Koup?

The Forte5 (hatchback bodystyle, TD and YD generations) and the Forte Koup (two-door coupe bodystyle, TD generation) share the same chassis and the same 5x114.3 / 67.1mm wheel spec as the Forte sedan of the same generation. Bodystyle does not change wheel fitment on the Forte. A wheel that fits a TD sedan fits a TD Koup and a TD Forte5.

Will Forte wheels fit a Kia K4?

The Kia K4 replaced the Forte for the 2025 model year, but it is a different car on a different platform, not a refresh of the BD Forte. Confirm K4 fitment on the K4 hub specifically and do not assume Forte wheels carry over. We measure the K4 on its own at our Chandler, Arizona facility.

Are Kia Forte wheels staggered?

No. Every Forte generation runs square (same width front and rear) from the factory and in our published aftermarket window. The Forte is a front-drive compact sedan engineered for even traction at all four corners, not a staggered performance bias.

Do I need hub centric rings on a Kia Forte?

Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 67.1mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.

How do I find the right wheels for my specific Kia Forte?

Confirm your generation (TD 2010-2013, YD 2014-2018, or BD 2019-2024). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Forte (each listing shows its own offset) and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. If you are on a BD Forte GT, contact our team for a free fitment consultation if you are dropping below 17 inch on an aftermarket wheel. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
