The 2012-2022 Lamborghini Aventador is the V12 mid-engine flagship that replaced the Murcielago, built across LP700-4, S, LP750-4 SV, SVJ, and Ultimae variants. The Aventador is one of the few cars on the road with a split bolt pattern. The front axle runs 5x112 with a 57.1mm hub bore. The rear axle runs 5x120 with a 70.1mm hub bore. That means the Aventador requires two distinct wheel specs front and rear, not one wheel that bolts to all four corners. The Aventador is also a must-staggered car from the factory, with a noticeably wider rear wheel and a larger front brake package than rear. Higher trims (LP750-4 SV, SVJ, Ultimae and some Aventador S builds) shipped with a Lamborghini centerlock setup that replaces the 5-lug pattern entirely. All 5-lug Aventadors (LP700-4 base and most LP700-4 S, Roadster, and 50th Anniversario builds) share the same split bolt pattern and centerbore. The brake configuration steps up between the steel Brembo trims and the carbon ceramic Brembo trims, and that changes the front-caliper clearance the wheel needs. Centerlock trims (LP750-4 SV, SVJ, Ultimae and some S builds) use a single central locking nut instead of five bolts and require a centerlock-specific aftermarket wheel. The Aventador Split Bolt Pattern and Centerbore

The Aventador is one of the very few cars Element Wheels catalogs with a split bolt pattern from the factory. The front hubs use 5x112 with a 57.1mm centerbore. The rear hubs use 5x120 with a 70.1mm centerbore. The two patterns are not interchangeable. 5x112 and 5x120 look similar on paper but the stud circle is 8mm wider on the rear, and a 5x112 wheel will not bolt to a 5x120 rear hub. This is by design. Lamborghini scaled the rear hub up to handle the wider rear track and the V12's torque delivery through the all-wheel-drive system. The front uses the smaller VW Group 5x112 pattern shared with the Audi R8, the Huracan, and the Gallardo. The 5x120 rear is unique to the Aventador (and to BMW chassis at coincidence, which do not cross because the centerbore and offset windows are not compatible). Lug count is straightforward. On a 5-lug Aventador you have five mounting points around each hub, but you are buying two different bolt-circle wheels and matching them front-to-rear.

The Aventador mounts wheels with M14x1.5 lug bolts, the same thread spec as the rest of the VW Group exotic line. A lug bolt threads directly into the hub instead of relying on pre-installed studs and separate nuts. The correct bolt length depends on the aftermarket wheel's mounting face thickness, so we ship the correct bolts with every 5-lug Aventador wheel order. Centerlock trims do not use lug bolts at all. They use a single large central locking nut tightened to a specific torque sequence, and a centerlock wheel cannot be retrofitted to a 5-lug hub or vice versa without a hub conversion that we do not recommend.

Why Every Aventador Runs Staggered Fitment

The Aventador is a mid-engine, all-wheel-drive V12 supercar with a noticeably wider rear track than the front. The rear arches are physically wider than the fronts and Lamborghini specs a wider rear wheel and tire than the front on every Aventador variant from LP700-4 forward. From the factory the base LP700-4 ran a 19x9 front with a 20x12 rear (Dione wheels were standard), and the SV, SVJ, and Ultimae stepped up to 20x9 front and 21x13 rear on the centerlock setup. Element's aftermarket window for the 5-lug Aventador covers 19 to 22 inch diameter, with front widths in the 9 to 9.5 inch range and rear widths in the 12.5 to 13 inch range. Square setups do not work on an Aventador. The chassis is engineered around the staggered geometry and the split bolt pattern enforces it mechanically. Trying to run a square fitment on an Aventador is not a styling choice. It is mechanically blocked.

The Aventador has a substantially larger front brake package than rear. That is normal on a performance car of this class. The front axle does the majority of the braking work and Lamborghini scales the front rotor and caliper accordingly. The carbon ceramic Brembo trims (the most common spec across the model run, and standard on SV, SVJ, and Ultimae) carry a larger front rotor and caliper than the steel-braked trims. The front wheel on either brake configuration needs more inner-barrel clearance than the rear for the larger front caliper, which is one of the variables we measure on the Aventador directly rather than estimating from spec sheets.

How We Confirm Fitment on Lamborghini Aventador Wheels

For the Aventador that means clearance from the wheel to the fender on both axles (the rear arch is wider than the front and the geometry is not symmetrical), gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height (measured separately on the front and rear because the front package is substantially larger, and again separately between the steel Brembo and carbon ceramic Brembo configurations), hub protrusion on both the 57.1mm front and the 70.1mm rear, and the lug-bolt seat depth that is specific to VW Group exotics.
