Lamborghini Gallardo Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The 2004-2014 Lamborghini Gallardo was Lamborghini's V10 mid-engine entry supercar and the most-produced Lamborghini in the company's history. It covers the original Gallardo, the LP560-4, the LP570-4 Superleggera, and the Spyder variants. The Gallardo runs 5x112 with a 57.1mm hub bore on M14x1.5 lug bolts, the same VW Group passenger-car bolt pattern shared with the first-generation Audi R8 Type 42 (the Gallardo is the Lamborghini-bodied sibling of that platform). The Gallardo is a must-staggered car from the factory with a wider rear wheel and tire than the front, and the front brake package is larger than the rear. Element Wheels measures Gallardo fitment directly on the car at our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, on both the steel Brembo and carbon ceramic Brembo configurations. Pick your variant below for wheels and rims fit-tested on the Gallardo.
Find Your Lamborghini Gallardo Variant
Every Gallardo from 2004 through 2014 shares the same 5x112 bolt pattern and 57.1mm centerbore. The brake configuration steps up between the steel Brembo trims and the carbon ceramic Brembo trims, and that changes the front-caliper clearance the wheel needs. The Superleggera trims (LP570-4) and most Spyder Performante builds shipped with carbon ceramics. Base coupe and most LP560-4 builds ran steel Brembos.
The Gallardo Bolt Pattern and Lug Bolts
Every 2004-2014 Lamborghini Gallardo uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 57.1mm hub bore. The bolt pattern is identical across the original Gallardo, the LP560-4, the LP570-4 Superleggera, and every Spyder variant, and it does not change between steel Brembo and carbon ceramic Brembo configurations. The 5x112 / 57.1mm spec is the standard VW Group passenger-car pattern shared with the Audi A4, A5, A6, S4, S5, RS5, and (most importantly for the Gallardo's lineage) the first-generation Audi R8 Type 42. The Gallardo is the Lamborghini-bodied sibling of that R8 chassis, which is why the two cars share the wheel bolt-up.
The Gallardo mounts wheels with M14x1.5 lug bolts. A lug bolt threads directly into the hub instead of relying on pre-installed studs and separate nuts. There is no stud to align the wheel before tightening, so the hub-centric fit and the correct bolt length both matter more on a Gallardo than on a stud-and-nut car. The wrong bolt length is the most common Gallardo installation mistake we see. We ship the correct bolts with every Gallardo wheel order. Compare across the rest of the Lamborghini lineup at our Lamborghini wheels and rims hub.
Why Every Gallardo Runs Staggered Fitment
The Gallardo is a mid-engine, all-wheel-drive V10 supercar with a wider rear track than the front. Lamborghini specs a wider rear wheel and tire than the front on every Gallardo variant. From the factory the LP560-4 ran a 19x8.5 front and a 19x11 rear. The LP570-4 Superleggera stepped up to a 19x8.5 front and a 19x11 rear with lighter forged wheels. Element's aftermarket window on the Gallardo covers 19 to 20 inch diameter, with front widths in the 8.5 to 9 inch range and rear widths in the 10.5 to 12 inch range. Square setups do not work on a Gallardo. The chassis is engineered around the staggered geometry, the rear arches are physically wider than the fronts, and the all-wheel-drive system is calibrated for the wider rear contact patch.
The Gallardo has a larger front brake package than rear. That is normal on a performance car of this class. The front axle does the majority of the braking work and Lamborghini scales the front rotor and caliper accordingly. The front wheel needs more inner-barrel clearance for the larger front caliper, and the carbon ceramic Brembo configuration carries an even larger front rotor than the steel Brembo trims. This is one of the variables we measure on the Gallardo directly rather than estimating from spec sheets, and it is why a wheel built for the rear of a Gallardo will often not clear the front caliper even when the bolt pattern and offset numbers look workable on paper.
Element Wheels Measured Fitment, Lamborghini Gallardo
Publishable factory and wheel specs for the Gallardo:
- Bolt pattern: 5x112
- Hub bore: 57.1mm
- Thread: M14x1.5 lug bolts
- Factory front wheel (LP560-4): 19x8.5
- Factory rear wheel (LP560-4): 19x11
- Element aftermarket diameter: 19-20 inch
- Element aftermarket front width: 8.5-9 inch
- Element aftermarket rear width: 10.5-12 inch
- Stagger: Required. Front and rear widths differ.
- Brake package: Front larger than rear. Steel Brembo and carbon ceramic Brembo variants both run the same wheel platform but with different inner-barrel clearance margin.
For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:
- 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Gallardo (each listing shows its own offset).
- 2. Browse the Lamborghini Gallardo wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
- 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.
Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
How We Confirm Fitment on Lamborghini Gallardo Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including the Gallardo. For the Gallardo that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height (measured separately on the front and rear because the front package is larger, and again separately between steel Brembo and carbon ceramic Brembo configurations), hub protrusion on the 57.1mm hubs, and the lug-bolt seat depth that is specific to VW Group exotics. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the car. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do. The combination of the larger front caliper, the brake-step-up to carbon ceramics, and the lug-bolt mounting is not something a generic spec calculator handles correctly, which is why we ship the correct M14x1.5 bolts and verified-clearance wheels with every order.
Lamborghini Gallardo Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Lamborghini Gallardo?
Every 2004-2014 Lamborghini Gallardo (including LP560-4, LP570-4 Superleggera, and every Spyder variant) uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 57.1mm hub bore. Mounting is by lug bolt rather than lug nut and stud, with an M14x1.5 thread. Element ships the correct bolts with every Gallardo wheel order.
What is the hub bore on a Gallardo?
The hub bore on every Gallardo is 57.1mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
Are Gallardo wheels staggered?
Yes. The Gallardo is mid-engine and all-wheel-drive with a wider rear wheel and tire than the front from the factory. Stock LP560-4 is 19x8.5 front and 19x11 rear. Element's aftermarket window runs 19-20 inch diameter with 8.5-9 inch front widths and 10.5-12 inch rear widths. The rear arches are physically wider than the fronts, the chassis is engineered around the staggered geometry, and the all-wheel-drive system is calibrated for the wider rear contact patch, so we do not recommend square fitments.
Does a Gallardo use lug bolts or lug nuts?
Lug bolts. The Gallardo uses M14x1.5 lug bolts that thread directly into the hub rather than lug nuts on pre-installed studs. The correct bolt length depends on the aftermarket wheel's mounting face thickness, so the wrong length is the most common Gallardo installation mistake. We ship the right bolts with every Gallardo wheel order.
Will Gallardo wheels fit an Audi R8 or a Huracan?
The bolt pattern crosses between the Gallardo, the first-generation Audi R8 Type 42, and the Huracan: all three use 5x112 with a 57.1mm hub bore (the Huracan steps up to a 66.5mm bore, so on the Huracan the wheel rides on the smaller pilot of the centerbore, not on the lip). The Gallardo is the Lamborghini-bodied sibling of the R8 Type 42 platform, which is why the spec lines up. Offset windows and brake clearance still differ enough that Element measures and stocks Gallardo, R8 Type 42, and Huracan as separate fitments. Wheels are not directly interchangeable as full sets without verifying offset and caliper clearance.
How does the carbon ceramic brake option change wheel choice?
The carbon ceramic Brembo trims on the Gallardo (standard on LP570-4 Superleggera and Spyder Performante, optional on LP560-4) carry a larger front rotor and caliper than the steel Brembo trims. Both share the same bolt pattern and hub spec but the inner-barrel clearance margin on the front wheel is tighter with carbon ceramics. Element measures caliper clearance directly on both configurations and the fitments we publish account for both.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Gallardo?
Element's measured aftermarket window on the Gallardo tops at 20 inch diameter, with rear widths up to 12 inch. Above that, tire selection becomes hard to source and the fender clearance margin disappears. The most common Gallardo builds we ship are factory-size 19 inch staggered (matching the LP560-4 / Superleggera diameter with deeper concavity or a different finish) or 20 inch staggered for owners who want a slightly larger diameter without compromising fender clearance.
How do I find the right wheels for my Lamborghini Gallardo?
Three steps on the Gallardo. Confirm your brake configuration (steel Brembo or carbon ceramic Brembo). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit a 2004-2014 Lamborghini Gallardo. Browse the wheel gallery for real-life Gallardo builds with size, offset, and tire captions. The correct M14x1.5 lug bolts and any hub centric rings you need ship with every order. For a more aggressive aftermarket build above factory size, contact our team for a free fitment consultation. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
