Lotus Eletre Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Lotus Eletre (2023 and up) is the first all-electric SUV from Lotus and the largest vehicle the brand has ever built. It launched globally in 2023 on a dedicated electric vehicle platform with dual-motor all-wheel drive and a heavy curb weight typical of a luxury performance EV. The Eletre we have measured uses 5x120 with a 63.3mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts. Every Eletre we sell wheels for is a must-be-staggered fitment with a wider rear wheel, and the front brake package is the larger spec, which is the norm on a performance SUV at this curb weight.

The Eletre sits on a different platform from the Lotus Emira sports car. The Emira uses 5x114.3 on the traditional Lotus sports car geometry. The Eletre uses 5x120 on the new electric SUV geometry. The Eletre is a single-generation platform so far. Bolt pattern (5x120) and centerbore (63.3mm) hold across all trims. The Eletre S, Eletre R, and Eletre Carbon variants run the same fitment window. Diameter, width, and the must-be-staggered constraint are constant.

The Lotus Eletre Bolt Pattern

Every Lotus Eletre we have measured uses 5x120 with a 63.3mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts threaded directly into the hub. The pattern and hub bore are consistent across the Eletre S, Eletre R, and Eletre Carbon trims. The 5x120 bolt pattern is the same bolt circle used on a range of other vehicles (the full-size BMW lineup, the full-size Land Rover lineup, and most Volvo SUVs), but the Eletre hub bore of 63.3mm is meaningfully smaller than the 72.56mm centerbore used on the BMW and Land Rover side of that pattern. A wheel that fit on a Range Rover or a 7-Series will not automatically work on an Eletre because the hub bore is different, the offset window is different, and the brake clearance behind the wheel face is different. Confirm the wheel you are looking at is rated for the Eletre specifically.

Important spec callout: 5x120 is NOT the same as 5x115. The two patterns look close on paper (a 5mm difference in bolt circle) but they do not interchange. A 5x115 wheel will not safely fit on a 5x120 hub. The factory hardware on the Eletre is M14x1.5 lug bolts, the typical European premium spec.

Why the Eletre is Must-Staggered and How the Brakes Affect Fitment

Every Eletre we sell wheels for is a must-be-staggered fitment. That is a catalog-level constraint, not a stylistic choice. The Eletre is a heavy performance EV with a meaningfully wider rear track than front and a power delivery profile (dual-motor all-wheel drive with most of the torque biased rearward on the R variant) that demands a wider rear tire. The rear wheel needs to be wider than the front to fill the fender correctly and to support the rear tire spec. A square fitment will tuck noticeably at the rear and is not how the platform is engineered to run. Plan on staggered. Our measured rear width range is 10 inch paired with a 9 inch front. Diameter window is 22 to 23 inch.

The front brake package on the Eletre is the larger spec. The front axle does the majority of the braking work on a heavy performance EV and Lotus scales the front rotor and caliper accordingly. The front wheel needs more inner-barrel clearance for the larger front caliper, which is a real fitment consideration on aftermarket wheels with a deeper front face or a tight spoke pattern. We measure the front and rear brake clearance directly on the Eletre. The standard Eletre S, the more powerful Eletre R, and the Eletre Carbon edition share the same chassis and brake package on the wheel fitment side, so the brake clearance rules apply across the lineup.

How We Confirm Fitment on Lotus Eletre Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the Eletre directly. For the Eletre that means clearance from the wheel to the fender on both axles (with the wider rear track on this performance EV), gap between the back of the wheel and the air suspension components, brake caliper height (front package larger than rear), hub bore confirmation to the 63.3mm Eletre hub, lug bolt seat depth on the M14x1.5 thread, and load rating on the aftermarket wheel because the Eletre is a heavy EV. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do. The Eletre carries a higher curb weight than a traditional luxury SUV at this size class because of the battery pack, and load rating is one of the specs we check on every aftermarket wheel before we recommend it for this platform.
