Lotus is one of the smaller volume sports car platforms in our customer base, represented by the Emira sports car and the Eletre electric SUV. The Emira is the final internal combustion Lotus, built on the modernized version of the long running Lotus chassis. The Eletre is the new direction for the brand under Geely ownership, a luxury electric SUV built on a dedicated EV platform. Lotus fitment splits between the two models. The Emira uses 5x114.3, the Japanese sports car pattern. The Eletre uses 5x120 on the dedicated EV platform. Both cars ship factory staggered with wider rear wheels because the rear wheel drive performance layout and the heavy curb weight of the EV demand a wider rear tire. The Lotus Bolt Pattern Landscape

Lotus runs two bolt patterns, one for the Emira sports car and one for the Eletre EV.

The Emira and Eletre do not share a bolt pattern. The Emira sits on the traditional Lotus sports car platform with 5x114.3. The Eletre sits on a new EV platform with 5x120. Wheels do not cross between the two cars.

How We Confirm Fitment

Element Wheels measures fitment on Lotus models we sell wheels for. For each chassis and brake combination we measure clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and any suspension components, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, lug height, and how much room the front wheel has when turning lock to lock. We do this on the car, not from a spec sheet.

That measurement work covers the most active Lotus platforms across the catalog. The Emira is tracked separately on the 5x114.3 sports car platform with the staggered factory setup. The Eletre is tracked separately on the 5x120 EV platform with the heavier curb weight and the larger brake package.
