The Maserati MC20 is Maserati's carbon-tub mid-engine supercar, built around the in-house twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine and the carbon-fiber monocoque developed in Modena. The MC20 launched for the 2022 model year and is currently produced, with the Cielo retractable hardtop convertible joining the Coupe in 2022, and the Folgore full-electric variant announced as part of the lineup. The MC20 is the spiritual successor to the MC12, and where the GranTurismo and Quattroporte are grand tourers and luxury sedans, the MC20 is a true mid-engine sports car. Our catalog shows the MC20 carries a 5x110 bolt pattern with a 65.1mm hub bore. This is a Maserati MC20-specific spec and it does NOT match the 5x114.3 / 67.1mm pattern used on the GranTurismo, Quattroporte, or Levante. The MC20 is also a must-be-staggered fitment with a meaningfully wider rear wheel than front, and the front brake package is larger than the rear, both consistent with a mid-engine supercar of this caliber. The Maserati MC20 Bolt Pattern

The Maserati MC20 uses a 5x110 bolt pattern with a 65.1mm hub bore. This is the most-mistaken Maserati MC20 spec because the rest of the modern Maserati lineup (GranTurismo M145 and M183, Quattroporte M156, Levante) carries 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore. The MC20 specifically does not. A 5x114.3 wheel built for a Quattroporte or a GranTurismo will not bolt onto an MC20, and a 5x110 MC20 wheel will not work on the rest of the Maserati lineup. The 5x110 pattern is the same pattern used on the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio (also Italian, also part of the broader Stellantis family), which is the closest cross-platform reference point. Hub bore on the MC20 is 65.1mm, which is also Alfa-pattern, so wheels rated for a Giulia or Stelvio at 5x110 / 65.1mm CB have a chance of fitting the MC20 mechanically. But the offset window on a mid-engine supercar is very different from a sport sedan or SUV, and we measure the MC20 separately even when the bolt math overlaps.

The factory wheel hardware on the MC20 is lug bolts at M14x1.5 thread pitch, threading directly into the hub instead of being torqued onto permanent studs with lug nuts. That is the standard Italian convention on this class of car. Bolt seat depth and thread length need to be confirmed for each aftermarket wheel because the bolt has to clear the seat depth on the wheel and reach the correct thread engagement in the hub. We measure that directly.

Why the MC20 is Must-Staggered and How the Brakes Affect Fitment

The MC20 is a must-be-staggered fitment at the catalog level. The engine sits midship behind the cockpit, the drivetrain weight loads the rear axle, and the factory rear wheel is meaningfully wider than the front. Our measured aftermarket window pairs an 8.5 to 9 inch front with an 11 to 12.5 inch rear. That is roughly 2.5 to 3.5 inches of stagger, which is normal on a mid-engine supercar in this class. A square fitment is not workable on the MC20; the chassis is engineered around the staggered geometry and the fender openings are sized for two different widths. Diameter window in our catalog is 20 to 22 inch on both axles.

The front brake package on the MC20 is larger than the rear, and the gap between front and rear caliper size is wider than on most performance cars we sell wheels for. That is normal on a mid-engine supercar of this caliber. The front axle does the majority of the braking work and Maserati scales the front rotor and caliper accordingly. The front wheel needs significant inner-barrel clearance for the larger front caliper, and aftermarket wheels with a deeper front face or a tighter spoke pattern can run out of clearance behind the spokes. We measure both axles separately. The MC20 also offers carbon-ceramic brakes as a high-spec option, and customers with carbon-ceramic brakes should confirm caliper clearance specifically before ordering.

How We Confirm Fitment on Maserati MC20 Wheels
