The Mazda CX-7 Bolt Pattern and Hub Bore

Every Mazda CX-7 runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and 12x1.5 lug nuts. The 5x114.3 pattern is also expressed as 5x4.5 in imperial nickname because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches exactly. The lug count is 5 and the thread pitch is M12x1.5 across every trim of the CX-7 lineup from 2007 through 2012. The Element Wheels catalog row for the CX-7 confirms this spec directly. The 5x114.3 / 67.1mm hub configuration is the same hub family Mazda used on the contemporary 2007-2012 CX-9 and on the 2013-and-up CX-5 that replaced the CX-7.

One thing to flag because it catches CX-7 buyers cross-shopping wheels. 5x114.3 is NOT the same as 5x115. The two patterns sit about 0.7mm apart at the bolt circle, which is enough to stress the lug studs over time and create a real safety problem. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers to 5x114.3 only (because 4.5 inches equals 114.3mm exactly). 5x115 has no imperial nickname that overlaps with 5x4.5. The CX-7 launched in 2007 with the 2.3 liter MZR DISI turbocharged engine across every trim. Mazda added a naturally aspirated 2.5 liter base trim for 2010 to chase fuel economy, and that variant runs the same chassis and the same 5x114.3 / 67.1mm hub spec as the turbo trims. Factory wheels stepped through 17 inch on the base trim, 18 inch on the standard turbo trims, and 19 inch on the top spec trims through the run. All trims are front wheel drive or all wheel drive depending on configuration, and the bolt pattern and hub spec are identical regardless of drivetrain.

Mazda replaced the CX-7 with the CX-5 for the 2013 model year. The CX-5 inherited the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern and the same 67.1mm hub bore. Wheels that fit the CX-7 at the lug math level will physically bolt to a 2013-and-up CX-5, but the fender well geometry and the offset window are different between the two cars and we treat them as separate fitment families.
