Every Mercedes-Benz CL in our catalog uses 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. That covers the C140 (1992-1999), the C215 (1999-2006), and the C216 (2007-2014), every trim, including base CL Class coupes, CL 550, CL 55 AMG, CL 63 AMG, and CL 65 AMG. Mercedes did not change the bolt math across the CL nameplate's 22 year run. Lug fastener is M14x1.5 thread, lug bolt style.

The 5x112 / 66.56mm pattern is the universal modern Mercedes-Benz spec, shared with the C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, GLC, GLE, and GLS. The CL was built on the S-Class chassis of each respective generation (C140 = W140 S-Class, C215 = W220 S-Class, C216 = W221 S-Class) and carries the S-Class hub geometry. A wheel built for the contemporary S-Class sedan will generally bolt onto a CL hub in stud pattern and centering, but the body geometry differs significantly. The CL is a two door personal luxury coupe with different fender lines, ride height, and tire clearance than the S-Class sedan. Why CL Trim And Brake Package Determine Wheel Fit

The CL ships in three brake tiers across the catalog. The base CL Class coupes (C140 and C215) run the standard CL brake package and accept an 18 inch minimum aftermarket diameter. The CL 550 (C216, 2007-2014) carries a larger front brake than the non-AMG predecessors and bumps the minimum aftermarket diameter to 19 inch. The AMG variants (CL 55, CL 63, CL 65) carry the largest brakes on the CL platform. The C215 CL 55 / CL 65 AMG runs a 19 inch minimum aftermarket diameter. The C216 CL 63 / CL 65 runs a 20 inch minimum because the supercharged and twin turbo V12 brakes are upsized further. The AMG front brake is larger than the rear brake, which is standard on every high output Mercedes-AMG performance variant. The CL 550 (C216) also carries a catalog note for a tall front hub that affects centercap and bore clearance, so most aftermarket wheels need confirmed cap clearance before they will sit flush on a CL 550 hub. The CL is an optional staggered platform: factory wheels were typically square but the chassis accommodates a staggered setup, and our measured fitment box covers both layouts.
