Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class is the compact luxury SUV Mercedes built on the X204 chassis from 2010 through the 2015 model year. Mercedes renamed it the GLC-Class for the 2016 model year as part of the company-wide SUV rename (GLK became GLC, ML became GLE, GL became GLS), so the GLK nameplate is a closed historical range. In the U.S. market, the GLK was sold almost exclusively as the GLK 350 (gas) across the entire run, with a brief GLK 250 BlueTEC diesel offered for 2013-2015. The AMG-branded GLK 35 and the Edition 1 trims were not sold in the U.S. market. Element Wheels measures the GLK as a single platform: the 2010-2015 X204 GLK 350. Bolt pattern is 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. Lug fastener is M14x1.5, lug bolt style (Mercedes uses a bolt that threads into the hub, not a stud with a separate lug nut). The GLK is an optional staggered fitment in our catalog. Factory wheels were square front and rear, but the chassis accommodates a staggered setup with wider rear wheels, and our measured fitment box covers both layouts. Aftermarket diameter window is 19-22 inch. Pick your fitment options below.
Find Your Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class Generation
The GLK ran as a single chassis (X204) from 2010 through 2015 in the U.S. market. Pick your trim to see wheels and rims that fit. Bolt pattern is 5x112 / 66.56mm CB on every GLK.
The Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class Bolt Pattern
Every Mercedes-Benz GLK in our catalog uses 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. That covers the X204 across its entire 2010-2015 U.S. market run, every model year. Mercedes used a single chassis for the GLK from launch to discontinuation. Lug fastener is M14x1.5 thread, lug bolt style.
The 5x112 / 66.56mm pattern is the universal modern Mercedes-Benz spec, shared with the C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, GLC, GLE, and GLS. A wheel built for one of these will bolt onto a GLK hub in stud pattern and centering, but the body geometry differs. The GLK is a tall, narrow compact SUV with a boxier upright body than the GLC successor. Wheel arch height and fender geometry are different from a C-Class sedan or even the post-2016 GLC. We track the GLK as its own platform with its own measured fitment data.
5x112 is NOT the same as 5x114.3 used on most Japanese cars. The two patterns sit roughly 2mm apart and are not interchangeable. Compare across the rest of the Mercedes-Benz lineup at our Mercedes-Benz wheels and rims hub, or check the GLC successor at /wheels/mercedes-benz/glc-class.
Why GLK Brake Clearance And Stagger Choice Matter
The U.S. market GLK shipped in a single brake tier: the standard GLK 350 package (also fitted to the GLK 250 BlueTEC diesel). There is no AMG-branded GLK in our catalog because the GLK 35 AMG was not sold in the U.S. The standard GLK brake fits an aftermarket diameter window of 19 inch minimum to 22 inch maximum. Below 19 inch risks contact with the front brake caliper. Above 22 inch typically requires fender clearance work and is not a build we measure for on this body. The GLK is an optional staggered fitment, meaning factory wheels were square front and rear but the chassis was engineered to accept a wider rear wheel for a more aggressive stance. Our measured fitment box covers both layouts: 8-9 inch front width, 9-10 inch rear width, with the rear offset window biased a few millimeters higher to keep the wider wheel tucked inside the fender.
Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class
Publishable factory and wheel specs for the GLK:
- X204 GLK 350 (2010-2015): 5x112 bolt pattern, 66.56mm hub bore, M14x1.5 lug bolts. Element aftermarket diameter range: 19-22 inch. Aftermarket width: 8-9 inch front, 9-10 inch rear (optional staggered). Standard brake package.
Offset windows are tightly controlled by the GLK fender geometry and the optional staggered setup. For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:
- 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific GLK (each listing shows its own offset).
- 2. Browse the GLK-Class wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
- 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.
Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
How We Confirm Fitment on Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including the GLK across its 2010-2015 run. For the GLK that means clearance from the wheel to the fender on a tall, narrow compact SUV body, gap between the back of the wheel and the front suspension components, brake caliper height on the standard GLK 350 package, hub bore confirmation on the 66.56mm Mercedes hub, lug bolt seat depth for the M14x1.5 lug bolt, and the optional staggered rear fender clearance for the wider rear wheel. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.
Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class?
Every Mercedes-Benz GLK uses 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. That covers the X204 across its entire 2010-2015 U.S. market run. Lug fastener is M14x1.5, lug bolt style. 5x112 is the Mercedes-Benz family standard pattern. It is NOT the same as 5x114.3 used on most Japanese cars. The two patterns sit roughly 2mm apart and are not interchangeable.
Is the GLK-Class the same as the GLC-Class?
The GLC is the renamed and redesigned successor to the GLK. Mercedes renamed the compact SUV from GLK-Class to GLC-Class starting with the 2016 model year as part of the company-wide SUV rename (GLK became GLC, ML became GLE, GL became GLS). The 2016 and newer GLC (X253) is a completely new chassis, not just a rename. Bolt pattern stays the same (5x112 / 66.56mm) but the body, suspension, and brake package all changed. 2015 or earlier compact Mercedes SUV is a GLK. 2016 or newer is a GLC. See our GLC-Class wheels and rims hub for the post-2015 fitment.
Will C-Class or E-Class wheels fit my GLK?
The GLK, C-Class, and E-Class all use 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. Wheels will bolt onto each hub in pattern and centering. But the three nameplates have different ride heights, fender geometries, and body widths. The GLK is taller and narrower than a C-Class or E-Class sedan. A wheel measured for a C-Class will not automatically clear a GLK fender, and vice versa. We track each Mercedes platform as its own fitment library. Use the GLK row for GLK fitment.
Can I run staggered wheels on a GLK?
Yes. The GLK is an optional staggered fitment in our catalog. Factory wheels were square (same width front and rear), but the chassis was engineered to accept a wider rear wheel for a more aggressive stance. Our measured fitment box covers both layouts: 8-9 inch front width, 9-10 inch rear width. The rear offset window is biased a few millimeters higher to keep the wider rear wheel tucked inside the fender. Use the Year/Make/Model search to see which staggered combinations we have measured for your specific GLK.
Was there ever an AMG GLK?
Not in the U.S. market. The GLK 35 AMG and the GLK Edition 1 were sold in select international markets but were never offered through Mercedes-Benz USA. Every U.S. market GLK is a GLK 350 (gas) or a brief 2013-2015 GLK 250 BlueTEC (diesel), and both run the same chassis and the same standard brake package. AMG-style 19, 20, or 21 inch wheel upgrades are popular on the U.S. GLK as aftermarket builds.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Mercedes-Benz GLK?
Our measured aftermarket window tops at 22 inch on the GLK. 20 and 21 inch are the most popular sizes for the GLK upgrade because they fill the wheel arch without sacrificing tire selection. 19 inch is the minimum to clear the standard front brake caliper. Above 22 inch typically requires fender clearance work and is not a build we measure for on this body.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Mercedes-Benz GLK?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 66.56mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
How do I find the right wheels for my specific Mercedes-Benz GLK?
Confirm your model year is 2010-2015 (GLK). 2016 and newer is a GLC, which is a different chassis. Bolt pattern is 5x112 / 66.56mm on every GLK. Decide whether you want a square or staggered fitment (factory was square, the chassis accepts staggered). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
