Mitsubishi Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
Mitsubishi is one of the longer running Japanese mainstream platforms in our customer base, anchored by the Lancer Evo, older Eclipse, 3000GT VR-4, and the modern Outlander. The Lancer Evo (Evo 8, 9, and X) carries the enthusiast aftermarket volume because of the AWD rally pedigree. The 3000GT VR-4 still pulls collector aftermarket interest. The Outlander leads the modern crossover side. Mitsubishi fitment is mostly consistent at 5x114.3 across the modern lineup. The Lancer Evo, modern Lancer, Eclipse (across all generations), 3000GT, Galant, Endeavor, Diamante, and Outlander all use 5x114.3. The exceptions are the Montero on 6x139.7 (the older truck class pattern), the original Lancer and some Mirage generations on 4x100, and the Raider on 5x139.7 because the truck was built on the Dodge Dakota platform. Element Wheels has measured fitment across the majority of Mitsubishi platforms in our 11-model catalog so the wheels we show you have been validated for your exact chassis. Pick your Mitsubishi model below and you can rest assured the wheels and rims will fit the way you want every time.

The Mitsubishi Bolt Pattern Landscape
Mitsubishi runs 5x114.3 across most of the modern lineup, with a few outliers on the Montero, Raider, and the smallest cars.
Mitsubishi bolt patterns at a glance
Mainstream Mitsubishi lineup (Lancer, Lancer Evo, Eclipse, 3000GT, Galant, Endeavor, Diamante, Outlander): 5x114.3 (also called 5x4.5). The Mitsubishi mainstream pattern shared across nearly the entire car and crossover lineup.
Mitsubishi Mirage and older small cars: 4x100. The compact car pattern.
Mitsubishi Montero (1992-2006): 6x139.7. The older truck class SUV pattern.
Mitsubishi Raider (2006-2009): 5x139.7 (also called 5x5.5). Built on the Dodge Dakota platform, uses the truck class pattern.
The Montero on 6x139.7 and the Raider on 5x139.7 are the truck class outliers in the Mitsubishi lineup. Wheels that fit a Lancer or Outlander will not fit a Montero or Raider.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Brembo Brakes, 3000GT VR-4, and the AWD Rally Family
The Lancer Evo is the Mitsubishi brake clearance challenge and the most active aftermarket platform in the lineup. The Evo 8, 9, and X all run Brembo 4 piston front calipers paired with large rotors. The clearance window is tight enough that aftermarket wheels often need to be specifically validated for the Evo brake setup. The Evo X MR with the optional larger brakes is tracked separately. A wheel that fits a base Lancer will not always clear the Evo Brembo caliper.
The 3000GT VR-4 carries collector aftermarket interest. The platform runs 5x114.3 with a wide track and a specific offset window because of the AWD layout and the wide rear tire setup. The non-VR-4 3000GT runs the same bolt pattern but slightly different offset windows because of the front wheel drive layout. Each variant is tracked separately because of the suspension geometry differences.
The Eclipse covers a wide range of generations. The early Eclipse GS-T and GSX (1995-1999) ran 5x114.3 with the turbo brake clearance demands. The Eclipse 4G and 5G (2000-2012) ran 5x114.3 with smaller offset windows. The modern Eclipse Cross (2018-2026) runs 5x114.3 on the modern crossover platform. Each generation is tracked separately.
How Element handles Mitsubishi fitment
The Lancer Evo (Evo 8, 9, X) is tracked separately from the base Lancer because of the Brembo brake clearance. The Evo X MR is tracked separately because of the optional larger brakes. The 3000GT VR-4 is tracked separately from the base 3000GT because of the AWD offset windows. The Eclipse is tracked by generation because the platform changed significantly across the lineup history.
How We Confirm Fitment
Element Wheels measures fitment on Mitsubishi models we sell wheels for. For each chassis and brake combination we measure clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and any suspension components, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, lug height, and how much room the front wheel has when turning lock to lock. We do this on the car, not from a spec sheet.
That measurement work covers the most active Mitsubishi platforms across the catalog. The Lancer Evo is tracked separately from the base Lancer because of the Brembo brake clearance. The Evo X MR is tracked separately for the optional larger brake setup. The 3000GT VR-4 is tracked separately from the non-VR-4 3000GT. The Eclipse is tracked by generation. The Montero and Raider are tracked on their truck class patterns.
Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
Mitsubishi Wheel and Rim FAQ
What is the most popular Mitsubishi aftermarket platform?
The Lancer Evo (Evo 8, 9, X) leads Mitsubishi aftermarket volume because of the strong AWD rally enthusiast attention. The Eclipse, 3000GT VR-4, Outlander, and Lancer follow.
What is the Mitsubishi bolt pattern?
Most modern Mitsubishis use 5x114.3, including the Lancer, Lancer Evo, Eclipse, 3000GT, Galant, Endeavor, Diamante, and Outlander. The Mirage and older small cars use 4x100. The Montero uses 6x139.7. The Raider uses 5x139.7.
Are Lancer and Lancer Evo wheels interchangeable?
They share the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern, but the Evo runs wider wheels, lower offsets, Brembo 4 piston brakes, wider tires, and an AWD chassis with widened track compared to the front wheel drive base Lancer. A base Lancer wheel on an Evo will look too narrow and may not clear the brake. An Evo wheel on a base Lancer will stick past the fender or rub the suspension. The two share a name but the wheel fitment is a different family. We track them separately.
Are 3000GT and 3000GT VR-4 wheels interchangeable?
They share the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern, but the VR-4 runs an AWD chassis with wider track, lower offsets, larger brakes, and wider tires than the front wheel drive base 3000GT. A base 3000GT wheel on a VR-4 will look too narrow and may not clear the brake. A VR-4 wheel on a base 3000GT will stick past the fender or rub the suspension. The two share a chassis name but the wheel fitment is a different family. We track them separately.
Are Mitsubishi wheels staggered?
Most Mitsubishis ship square from the factory. The 3000GT VR-4 ships square because of the AWD layout. The Lancer Evo ships square because of the AWD layout. Aftermarket staggered builds are rare on Mitsubishi because the AWD and front wheel drive layouts do not support staggered fitment well.
Will Dodge Dakota wheels fit a Mitsubishi Raider?
Only the 2005-2010 Dakota matches. Both the Raider and the 2005-2010 Dakota use 5x139.7 on the same platform. The earlier 1991-2004 Dakota uses 6x114.3 and will not bolt across to the Raider.
How do I find wheels for my specific Mitsubishi?
Pick your Mitsubishi model from the list above. Each model page covers the generations we have measured, with bolt pattern, offset window, and fitment specifics for each year range and trim. If you are not sure which generation or trim you have, our team can identify your exact configuration from your VIN.
Get Mitsubishi Wheels and Rims Right the First Time
