The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers specifically to 5x114.3. 5x115 lives on cars like the Chrysler 300 and the Dodge Charger LX and the studs will not line up at 5x114.3 spacing. Always confirm 5x114.3 when ordering for a 300ZX.

Why the 300ZX Trim Determines Brake Clearance

The Z32 300ZX is a rear wheel drive sports car that ran two factory brake packages from 1990 through 1996. The Non-Turbo car carries the standard Z32 front brake. The Twin Turbo carries a physically larger front brake that fills more of the wheel face and shifts the inner-barrel clearance window. Both cars share the same 5x114.3 / 66.1mm hub bore, so the bolt pattern is identical, but a wheel that clears the Non-Turbo front brake does not automatically clear the Twin Turbo front brake.
