The bolt pattern stays 5x114.3 with a 66.1mm hub bore across every Z generation, so the wheels bolt onto the hub across all three chassis. What changes between Z33, Z34, and Z35 is brake clearance, the must-staggered-vs-optional-staggered split (the 370Z Base is must-staggered from the factory, while the 370Z Sport Brake, 370Z NISMO, and the new Z are optional-staggered), and the inner-barrel clearance window on the Sport Brake cars. The Nissan Z Bolt Pattern Across Z33, Z34, and Z35

Every Nissan Z car sold in the US runs 5x114.3, also called 5x4.5 imperial (114.3mm = 4.5 inches exactly), with a 66.1mm factory hub bore. That covers the 350Z on the Z33 chassis (2003-2008), the 370Z on the Z34 chassis (2009-2020), and the new Z on the Z35 chassis (2023 and up). The pattern is consistent across all three generations and every trim. A wheel built for one Z generation will bolt onto another at the lug-hole level. What changes between Z33, Z34, and Z35 is brake clearance, the staggered-vs-square fitment rule on the sport variants, and the inner-barrel clearance window for the NISMO and Sport Brake cars, not the bolt math.

A cross-pattern caution that applies to every 5x114.3 platform: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as the 5x115 pattern used on Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, and similar American sedans. The two patterns sit roughly 0.7mm apart and are not interchangeable, even though the difference sounds tiny. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers only to 5x114.3 (because 114.3mm = 4.5 inches exactly). Calling 5x115 "5x4.5" is wrong and forcing a 5x115 wheel onto a 5x114.3 hub puts the stud loading off-center, which is a safety issue. Stick to wheels listed for 5x114.3 specifically.

The Z lineage shares the Nissan FM platform with the Infiniti G35 and G37 Coupe, which is why those Infiniti coupes run the same 5x114.3 / 66.1mm interface. The fitment is similar enough on the base cars that some 350Z and 370Z wheels carry to the G37 Coupe and vice versa, though brake hardware and offset windows differ enough that we measure each platform separately. Brake Package and Staggered Fitment Across the Z Lineup

The Z car splits into base and sport-brake trims across the lineup. The 350Z Track ships with a larger front brake than the 350Z base. The 370Z Sport Brake and 370Z NISMO ship with the larger Akebono sport brake package, with the NISMO running a physically larger caliper than the Sport Brake. The new Z (Z35) ships with its own sport-brake package across the line. That is normal on the higher-performance trims of a sports car. The front axle does the majority of the braking work, and Nissan scales the front rotor and caliper accordingly. The larger front caliper takes more inner clearance behind the front wheel face, which is why our smallest measured diameter on the sport-brake Z variants starts at 18 inch where the base 350Z supports 17 inch.

Staggered fitment is split across the Z lineup, and it does NOT track to brake package. The 370Z Base ships must-staggered from the factory. The 350Z Base, 350Z Track, 370Z Sport Brake, 370Z NISMO, and the new Z (Z35) ship staggered from the factory but accept optional square setups in our measured aftermarket window. That is the catalog truth: the must-staggered rule on the Z lineup applies to the 370Z Base only. On every other Z trim, square is on the table if you want it.

How We Confirm Fitment on Nissan Z Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including the 350Z (Z33), 370Z (Z34), and new Z (Z35). For the Z lineup that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, front and rear brake caliper height (base vs Sport Brake vs NISMO on the 370Z, measured separately on each chassis), hub protrusion, lug seat depth, and the staggered front-vs-rear ratio at every diameter we publish. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do. That measurement work is why our 370Z Sport Brake and 370Z NISMO windows look different from the 370Z Base, and why the new Z gets measured separately from the 370Z it replaced.
