Nissan Sentra Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Nissan Sentra is Nissan's compact front-wheel-drive sedan, in continuous US production since 1982 and one of the wider date-range cars in our catalog. Element Wheels measures the Sentra from the 1991-1999 era forward, covering the 4-lug 4x100 generations of the early 1990s, the 4-lug 4x114.3 generations of the 2000s, the 5-lug 5x114.3 Spec-V performance variant (2007-2012), and the 5-lug 5x114.3 modern Sentra (2013 and up). The hub bore sits at 66.1mm across every generation and the thread pitch is M12x1.25 throughout. The big confirms on this car are the two bolt pattern transitions, which is more than most sedans in this size class. Pick your generation below to land on your specific Sentra.
Find Your Nissan Sentra Generation
Pick your year range to see wheels and rims that fit your specific Sentra. The 1991-1999 Sentra is 4-lug 4x100. The 2000-2012 Sentra is 4-lug 4x114.3 (with the exception of the 2007-2012 Spec-V, which is 5-lug 5x114.3). The 2013 and up Sentra is 5-lug 5x114.3 across the board. Hub bore stays at 66.1mm on every generation.
The Nissan Sentra Bolt Pattern Changes Three Times
The Sentra has gone through three bolt pattern eras in the years we measure for. 1991-1999 Sentra: 4 lugs on 4x100, 66.1mm hub bore. 2000-2012 Sentra (B15 and B16): 4 lugs on 4x114.3, 66.1mm hub bore. The one exception during that 4-lug era is the 2007-2012 Sentra Spec-V, which Nissan upgraded to 5 lugs on 5x114.3 with the same 66.1mm hub bore as part of the Spec-V performance package. The 2013 and up Sentra (B17 and the current B18) moved the entire lineup to 5 lugs on 5x114.3 with the 66.1mm hub bore. Lug thread is M12x1.25 on every Sentra generation. None of the three patterns interchange with each other.
On the modern 5-lug Sentra, 5x114.3 carries the 5x4.5 imperial nickname (114.3mm equals exactly 4.5 inches), which is where some wheel listings show "5x4.5" instead of the metric callout. 5x114.3 is the most common 5-lug Japanese bolt pattern, shared across the Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, and Mitsubishi lineups. The detail that trips buyers. 5x114.3 is NOT the same as 5x115 used on some American sedans (the Chrysler 300, the Dodge Charger LX). The two patterns sit only 0.7mm apart but the lugs do not align. The 5x4.5 nickname is specifically for 5x114.3. The same trap goes for 5x110 used on some European compacts. Confirm the wheel listing says 5x114.3 specifically before ordering.
On the 4-lug eras, the older 4x100 Sentra (1991-1999) shares its pattern with the Honda Civic of that era, the Mazda Miata, and most early-1990s Japanese compacts. The 4x114.3 Sentra (2000-2012) shares its pattern with the early 1990s 240SX and the original Altima. The patterns are NOT cross-compatible with each other or with the modern 5-lug Sentra. Always confirm the year first. Compare across the rest of the Nissan lineup at our Nissan wheels and rims hub.
Why Sentra Year and Trim Determine Wheel Fit
The Sentra is a front-wheel-drive compact across every generation, but the bolt pattern transitions force a year confirm before anything else. The B13 and B14 Sentra (1991-1999) are 4-lug 4x100 cars, popular with the Japanese compact tuning scene of the 1990s and still in our measurement set. The B15 Sentra (2000-2006) and the B16 base Sentra (2007-2012) moved to 4x114.3 to match Nissan's other compact and mid-size sedans of that era. The B16 Spec-V (2007-2012) is the one variant during the 4-lug era that went to 5 lugs, because Nissan paired the Spec-V's QR25DE 2.5L engine and 6-speed manual with an upgraded brake and hub package that required 5 lugs. The B17 (2013-2019) and the current B18 (2020 and up) moved the entire Sentra lineup to 5 lugs on 5x114.3 and stayed there. The SR sport trim on the modern Sentra is a cosmetic and suspension package; the bolt pattern, hub bore, and base brake hardware on the SR match the rest of the B17 and B18 lineup.

Offset windows are tightly controlled for the Sentra FWD strut geometry and brake clearance. For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:
- 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Sentra (each listing shows its own offset).
- 2. Browse the Sentra wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
- 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.
How We Confirm Fitment on Nissan Sentra Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including every Sentra generation in our catalog. For the Sentra that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the FWD strut, brake caliper height (the Spec-V front brake is larger and gets its own check), hub bore confirmation on the 66.1mm hub, lug count and seat depth on the M12x1.25 thread, and turning clearance at full lock. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.
The bolt pattern transitions on this car have caused real customer mistakes. We have seen 4-lug 4x100 wheels ordered for a 2003 B15 (which is 4x114.3), 4x114.3 wheels ordered for a Spec-V (which is 5x114.3), and 4-lug wheels ordered for a 2015 B17 (which is 5x114.3). Every Fitment Guarantee return on a Sentra has been a bolt pattern mismatch. The goal of this page is to get the year and trim confirmed before you order. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
Nissan Sentra Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Nissan Sentra?
It depends on the year and trim. 1991-1999 Sentra: 4x100 with a 66.1mm hub bore (4 lug). 2000-2012 Sentra: 4x114.3 with a 66.1mm hub bore (4 lug). 2007-2012 Sentra Spec-V: 5x114.3 with a 66.1mm hub bore (5 lug). 2013 and up Sentra (B17 and B18): 5x114.3 with a 66.1mm hub bore (5 lug). The three patterns do not interchange. Always confirm by year and trim before ordering.
Is the Sentra Spec-V different from the rest of the 2007-2012 Sentra lineup?
Yes. The Sentra Spec-V (2007-2012, sometimes called SE-R Spec-V) is the performance variant of the B16 Sentra, paired with the 2.5L QR25DE engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. Nissan upgraded the Spec-V to a 5-lug 5x114.3 hub and larger front brake package, where the rest of the B16 Sentra stayed on the 4-lug 4x114.3 setup. So during the 2007-2012 era, a base Sentra is 4-lug and a Spec-V is 5-lug. The hub bore is the same 66.1mm on both. Wheels do NOT interchange between the base B16 and the Spec-V because of the lug count change.
Are 5x114.3 and 5x115 the same on a Sentra?
No. 5x114.3 and 5x115 are different bolt patterns that sit 0.7mm apart and do not bolt across. The modern Sentra and the Spec-V are 5x114.3 specifically. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers to 5x114.3 only (114.3mm equals exactly 4.5 inches). 5x115 lives on some American sedans like the Chrysler 300 and the Dodge Charger LX. If a wheel listing says "5x115" without offering 5x114.3, it does not fit the Sentra.
B17 vs B18 Sentra: what changes for wheels?
Bolt pattern and hub bore are identical on the B17 (2013-2019) and the current B18 (2020 and up): 5x114.3 / 66.1mm / M12x1.25. The aftermarket diameter window narrows slightly on the B18 (16-19 inch) compared to the B17 (16-20 inch), and the B18 aftermarket width window is tighter at 6.5-7.5 inch versus the B17's 6-8.5 inch range. The B18 changes are driven by the B18's narrower stock fender package, not by a different bolt pattern. Both generations are square front and rear.
Does the Sentra SR run different wheels than a base Sentra?
The SR trim on the modern Sentra (B17 and B18) is a sport-styled package with paddle-shifter calibration, sport suspension, and the visual sport cues, but the base brake hardware on the SR matches the rest of the B17 and B18 lineup. Bolt pattern, hub bore, and the aftermarket wheel window are identical between SR and the standard trims. The SR ships from the factory with the 18 inch wheel by default. Any aftermarket wheel that fits a base modern Sentra also fits the SR.
Are Nissan Sentra wheels staggered?
No. The Sentra is a front-wheel-drive compact across every generation, so square fitment (same wheel and tire size front and rear) is the standard from the factory and from our aftermarket catalog. Staggered fitment on a FWD car offers no traction benefit and creates uneven tire wear.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Nissan Sentra?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 66.1mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
How do I find the right wheels for my specific Nissan Sentra?
Three steps. Confirm your year (1991-1999 is 4x100 4-lug; 2000-2012 is 4x114.3 4-lug; 2013 and up is 5x114.3 5-lug). Confirm trim if it is a 2007-2012 (base is 4-lug, Spec-V is 5-lug). Then use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Sentra (each listing publishes its own offset) and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. If your Sentra is a Spec-V or you are between two generations, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
Get Nissan Sentra Wheels Right the First Time
Pick your generation above to see wheels and rims that fit. We measure on the Sentra platform across every generation from the 4-lug 4x100 B13 of the early 1990s through the current 5-lug B18. The bolt pattern transitions force a year and trim confirm on this car more than on most sedans, and the 2007-2012 Spec-V is the one variant during the 4-lug era that runs 5 lugs. Find your fit and start enjoying your build sooner.
