Polaris Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

Polaris is one of the more unusual platforms in our customer base. The Slingshot is the only Polaris on road vehicle in our catalog. The Slingshot is a three wheel autocycle (two front wheels, one rear wheel) built on a tubular steel chassis. The platform launched in 2014 and continues in production. Slingshot fitment is unique in the aftermarket because the rear wheel is a single wide wheel mounted to a swingarm rather than a traditional 4 wheel layout. The front wheels run 5x114.3 with a staggered front-to-rear setup where the rear wheel is significantly wider than the fronts. The Slingshot ships factory staggered because of the three wheel layout. The Polaris Bolt Pattern Landscape

The Polaris Slingshot is the only Polaris on road platform and it uses one bolt pattern across both the front and rear wheels.

The Slingshot is staggered by design with a wider rear wheel. Aftermarket wheel selection on 5x114.3 is broad because of the shared pattern with the Japanese sports car aftermarket, but the offset and width requirements for the Slingshot rear are specific to the autocycle platform.

How We Confirm Fitment

Element Wheels measures fitment on Polaris models we sell wheels for. For each chassis and brake combination we measure clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and any suspension components, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, lug height, and how much room the front wheel has when turning lock to lock. We do this on the car, not from a spec sheet.

That measurement work covers the Polaris Slingshot in our catalog. The Slingshot is tracked on the 5x114.3 platform with the staggered fitment (narrower front, wider rear) as the standard configuration. The S, SL, SLR, and R trims share the same bolt pattern and similar offset windows.
