Pontiac sold the G8 in the US and Canada for the 2008 and 2009 model years only, in three trims: a V6 base car, the GT with a 6.0L L76 V8, and the GXP with a 6.2L LS3 V8. The G8 went away in 2010 when the Pontiac brand was eliminated and Holden stopped exporting the Commodore VE to North America. The G8 is the Holden Commodore VE rebadged for the US and Canadian markets, mechanically identical to the Australian car. Same GM Zeta chassis, same RHD-developed body converted to LHD, same suspension and powertrain architecture. That same-chassis fact matters for wheel fitment: a wheel built for a Holden Commodore VE will fit a Pontiac G8 in terms of bolt pattern, hub bore, and offset window. The G8 shares the same Zeta platform 5x120 / 66.9mm bolt pattern as the later Chevrolet SS Sport Sedan (2014-2017), which used the same Holden architecture in a different bodyshell. The Pontiac G8 Bolt Pattern

Every Pontiac G8 (2008-2009) uses 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore. That is the GM Zeta platform spec, shared by the Holden Commodore VE (which the G8 IS, mechanically), the 5th-gen Camaro, and the later Chevrolet SS Sport Sedan. Lug spec is M14x1.5. The 5x120 pattern is also the BMW luxury-car pattern and the Tesla Model S pattern, but the hub bores do not match across those platforms. BMW 5x120 is bored 72.56mm. Tesla Model S 5x120 is bored 64.1mm. GM Zeta 5x120 (G8, Camaro, SS Sport Sedan, Commodore VE) is bored 66.9mm. A BMW-bored wheel will physically bolt onto a G8 hub if the bolt circle matches, but the cap will not sit flush against the hub and the lug-stress geometry is not what GM engineered for. We recommend running a 72.56-to-66.9mm hub centric ring if you are mounting BMW-bored wheels on a G8, or sticking to GM-bored 66.9mm wheels in the first place. A Tesla Model S wheel will not seat at all because the 64.1mm bore is smaller than the 66.9mm G8 hub face.

The same-chassis fact with the Holden Commodore VE is genuinely useful here, because the G8 was a niche US import and a wheel listed for "Holden Commodore VE" from an Australian-market vendor is the same fitment as a US-market Pontiac G8 wheel, including the 5x120 / 66.9mm pattern and the offset window. The Pontiac G8 is the Holden Commodore VE rebadged for the US and Canadian markets. Holden engineered the Commodore VE in Australia on the GM Zeta platform, with a long wheelbase, rear-wheel drive, and the LS family of GM small-block V8 engines as the high-trim option. Pontiac brought the car to North America under the G8 name for 2008 and 2009. Same chassis. Same suspension. Same powertrain architecture. The conversion work was right-hand drive to left-hand drive plus emissions, lighting, and badging changes; the fundamentals of the car are Australian-engineered. That direct same-chassis relationship is why a Commodore VE wheel and a G8 wheel are interchangeable at the bolt-pattern, hub-bore, and offset-window level. It is also the reason the G8 has a small but committed enthusiast community: the car was the closest thing to a four-door Camaro Pontiac ever sold, and it disappeared from new-car lots when the Pontiac brand was wound down in 2010.

The three G8 trims share the same chassis and the same bolt pattern. The V6 base car uses a 3.6L V6. The GT uses a 6.0L L76 V8. The GXP uses a 6.2L LS3 V8 (the same engine family that later went into the Chevrolet SS Sport Sedan and the 5th-gen Camaro SS).
