The Porsche Panamera has run through three generations: the 970 (2010-2016), the 971 (2017-2023), and the new G3 (2024 and up). Bolt pattern stays 5x130 with a 71.5mm hub bore across every generation, matching the rest of the modern Porsche flagship lineup (911 Carrera, Cayenne, and the Macan Electric / 95C from 2024 share 5x130, though offset windows differ between models). The pre-2024 Macan ICE (95B, 2014-2024) is the exception in the Porsche family: it runs the MLB Evo platform's 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore and does not share wheels with the 5x130 Porsches. The 970 is optionally staggered. The 971 and G3 ship factory staggered. The Porsche Panamera Bolt Pattern

Every Porsche Panamera uses 5x130 with a 71.5mm hub bore. That covers the 970 (2010-2016), the 971 (2017-2023), and the new G3 (2024 and up), and every trim within each chassis. The 5x130 pattern is the Porsche flagship pattern across the modern lineup (911 Carrera, Cayenne, and the Macan Electric / 95C from 2024 also use it), but the offset windows, widths, and hub bores can differ between models. The pre-2024 Macan ICE (95B, 2014-2024) is a different platform: it runs MLB Evo 5x112 / 66.56mm CB and does not share wheels with the 5x130 Porsches. 5x130 wheels do NOT fit a Macan ICE. A 911 wheel will physically bolt on a Panamera, but the Panamera is a longer, heavier four-door car and the OEM offset windows do not transfer.

Even within the Panamera lineup, the offset window stays narrow across generations (40-65mm rear typically) but the brake clearance widens significantly. The 971 stepped front brake size up and the Turbo S carbon ceramic adds more caliper height. A 970-spec wheel can fit a 971, but the brake clearance has to be re-verified. We measure each generation and each brake option separately.

Why The Panamera Brake And Trim Determine Wheel Fit

The Panamera carries multiple brake options across the lineup. Base, S, and 4S ship with the standard steel brake. GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S step the caliper size up. The Turbo and Turbo S can be specified with the optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) upgrade, which sits in a different position inside the wheel than the steel caliper. Each step changes the inside clearance the wheel needs.

The Turbo S with carbon ceramic brakes carries the most caliper height of any Panamera. The wheel face has to be designed for that caliper position, not the steel caliper. This is the kind of detail OEM spec sheets don't carry, and it is why a generic wheel calculator can put you on a wheel that almost fits.
