The Suzuki Vitara Bolt Pattern

The 1999-2004 Suzuki Vitara runs 5x139.7 with a 108.1mm hub bore. 5x139.7 is also written as 5x5.5 in imperial (139.7mm = 5.5 inches). That nickname refers ONLY to 5x139.7 and is correct as a synonym for the Vitara. 5x139.7 is NOT the same as 5x114.3 (the 5x4.5 imperial pattern used on the later 2006-2013 unibody Grand Vitara and the SX4), so a wheel from the later unibody Grand Vitara will NOT bolt onto a 1999-2004 Vitara. The 108.1mm hub bore is the same large Suzuki body-on-frame hub used on the related 1999-2005 Grand Vitara. The factory studs use 12x1.25 thread pitch with a tapered lug seat.

Inside the Suzuki body-on-frame SUV family, the 1999-2004 Vitara, the 1999-2005 Grand Vitara, and the Sidekick all share 5x139.7 lug hardware and the 108.1mm centering hub. That is the closest same-era cross-reference. The Aerio (4x100), Esteem (4x100), Forenza (4x114.3), Reno (4x114.3), and the later unibody Grand Vitara (5x114.3) all use different bolt patterns or hub bores and will NOT cross with the Vitara. The Body-on-Frame Vitara Platform and Fitment Box

The 1999-2004 Vitara is a body-on-frame compact SUV with rear wheel drive and an available part-time four wheel drive system. Like the 1999-2005 Grand Vitara of the same era, it requires matched tire circumference at all four corners when the front axle is engaged on the 4WD models. That is why Element's measured aftermarket box is square front and rear with matched offset on both axles. The 2WD and 4WD Vitara take the same wheel fitment. Drivetrain is not a fitment-box axis on this platform.
