Both generations run a 5x100 bolt pattern with a 54.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 thread pitch on permanent wheel studs. The factory wheel diameter steps up across the generation transition: the T200 came on 14 and 15 inch factory wheels, the T230 stepped up to 15 and 16 inch (the GT-S typically shipped with 16 inch). The fitment windows differ slightly on width and offset, so the year range matters when shopping a wider or more aggressive setup.

The Toyota Celica Bolt Pattern

The T200 Celica (1994-1999) and T230 Celica (2000-2005) both use a 5x100 bolt pattern with a 54.1mm hub bore. Lug count is five, thread pitch is M12x1.5 on permanent wheel studs. Important contrast for cross-shopping: the modern mainstream Toyota cars (Camry, current Corolla, Avalon, RAV4, Highlander) run 5x114.3 / 60.1mm, which is a different bolt pattern AND a different hub bore. Wheels listed for those cars will not fit a Celica. The Toyota 86 runs 5x100 like the Celica but with a different 56.1mm hub bore and M12x1.25 thread pitch (the 86 is Subaru-built), so 86 wheels also do not drop into a Celica without re-checking the hub centering and thread pitch.

Worth noting clearly: 5x100 is NOT the same as 5x114.3. Both are 5-lug, but the bolt circle diameter is different (100mm vs 114.3mm). A 5x100 wheel will not fit a 5x114.3 hub and vice versa. The earlier Celicas (1st through 5th generations, 1971-1993, including the All-Trac Turbo ST165/ST185/ST205) are not in our active measured catalog. T200 vs T230 Generation Differences That Matter for Wheel Fitment

Both generations share the same 5x100 / 54.1mm / M12x1.5 hardware, so a wheel that mounts on a T200 will mount on a T230 mechanically. Where the two diverge is in the width and offset window. The T200 (1994-1999) ran a narrower factory wheel and tire package, so our measured aftermarket window is biased narrower (5.5 to 7.5 inch width). The T230 (2000-2005) ran wider factory wheels (16x6.5 on the GT-S) and supports a wider aftermarket range (6 to 8 inch width). Offset bands also shift slightly across the two generations. Diameter range is 15 to 18 inch on both.

The T230 GT-S was the higher-output trim with the 2ZZ-GE 1.8 liter Yamaha-developed engine and was a popular base for tuner builds. The fitment math is the same as the base GT trim, but the GT-S typically gets pushed harder on width and offset. Our aftermarket window covers both the conservative replacement crowd and the wider-tire enthusiast crowd. Both T200 and T230 run square front and rear (same width both ends), which keeps tire rotation possible across four corners.
