The 5x112 / 57.1mm spec is the same passenger-car interface used across the Mk5 VW Group lineup including the Mk5 Golf, Mk5 GTI, Mk5 Jetta, and the 2006-2009 Rabbit reissue. VW runs lug bolts on the Eos, not lug studs and nuts the way most American convertibles do. The lug bolt threads directly into the hub, the wheel sits between the head of the bolt and the hub face, and there is no fixed lug stud to align the wheel before tightening. This makes a hub-centric fit more important on the Eos than on a stud-and-nut convertible.

The Eos is mechanically the Mk5 Golf platform with a retractable hardtop, so the 5x112 / 57.1mm wheel interface is shared with every Mk5 Golf, GTI, Jetta, and the Rabbit reissue. Why Trim and Engine Don't Change Eos Fit

Every Volkswagen Eos trim uses the same 5x112 bolt pattern, 57.1mm hub bore, and M14x1.5 lug bolts. The Komfort, Lux, Executive, and Sport trims all share the same wheel interface. The 2.0T turbocharged engine and the 3.2L VR6 (offered on the early Executive trim) do not change the wheel bolt pattern or hub bore. Drivetrain is front wheel drive only on every Eos. Trim level does not change the wheel bolt pattern or hub bore.

The Mk5 platform was designed around a square wheel setup and a staggered configuration delivers no performance benefit on a front wheel drive convertible.
