Dodge Charger Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Dodge Charger name covers three distinct platforms in our catalog and each one uses a different bolt pattern. The 1968-1970 classic B-body Charger runs 5x114.3 with a 71.6mm hub bore. The 2005 through 2023 LX platform Charger (the modern four-door sedan reborn) runs 5x115 with a 71.5mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug nuts. The 2025 and up Charger Daytona EV runs 5x127 with a 71.6mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts on a brand-new platform. The wheels do not interchange across the three platforms. The Dodge Charger Bolt Pattern
The Charger uses three different bolt patterns across three different platforms. The 1968-1970 classic B-body Charger runs 5x114.3 with a 71.6mm hub bore. The 2005 through 2023 LX platform Charger runs 5x115 with a 71.5mm hub bore and an M14x1.5 thread on 5 lug nuts. The 2025 and up Charger Daytona EV runs 5x127 with a 71.6mm hub bore and an M12x1.5 thread on 5 lug nuts. The LX bolt pattern (5x115), the classic B-body bolt pattern (5x114.3), and the Daytona EV bolt pattern (5x127) are three distinct patterns and the wheels do not interchange across them.
Important safety note. The LX Charger pattern is 5x115. It is NOT the same as 5x114.3. The two patterns sit 0.7mm apart at the studs. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers to 5x114.3 only (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches), NOT to the LX Charger pattern. A 5x114.3 wheel from a classic Charger will not bolt to an LX Charger. A 5x114.3 wheel from a Mustang will not bolt to an LX Charger either. Confirm the listing says 5x115 specifically when shopping for a 2005-2023 Charger. For the Daytona EV, confirm 5x127. The LX Charger and the LX Challenger share the same chassis and the same 5x115 pattern, so wheels swap freely between those two cars within the same brake and trim combination.
Why Trim and Brake Package Drive Charger Wheel Buying
On the modern LX Charger, the bolt pattern is uniform across the entire 2005-2023 run, so the trim badge does most of the deciding for you. RWD Chargers have the widest aftermarket fitment window because the front suspension is not carrying any drivetrain hardware. AWD Chargers (2005-2010, 2011-2017, and 2018-2026 SXT and GT) carry the front halfshafts and a transfer case, which narrows the front-axle clearance window and rules out staggered fitment. Stagger is not workable on the AWD Charger because it forces the drivetrain to run different rotational speeds front to rear and the system will damage itself over time. AWD Chargers run square (same wheel front and rear) every time.
On the 2015 and newer LX cars, the brake package opens a second split. Standard brakes, 4-piston Brembo, and 6-piston Brembo each ship a different caliper height. Our catalog tracks the three brake variants as separate fitments because the inner clearance window shifts with each. The 6-piston Brembo (Hellcat, SRT) is the tightest, and on the OEM widebody cars (Scat Pack and Hellcat from 2020 forward) there is a specific offset window required to run a 315/35/20 rear tire. The Daytona EV is its own situation. The 2025 and up Charger Daytona EV is built on a new platform that shares no chassis or wheel hardware with the LX Charger. Brake packages on the Daytona EV split as base brakes and 6-piston Brembo, the same brake hardware approach as the LX but on a different hub geometry. The Daytona EV is not a substitution for the LX Charger and the wheels do not cross.

Do LX Charger wheels fit a 2025 and up Daytona EV?
No. The 2025 and up Charger Daytona EV is built on a new platform with a different bolt pattern. The LX Charger runs 5x115 with a 71.5mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug nuts. The Daytona EV runs 5x127 with a 71.6mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts. The bolt pattern, the hub bore, and the lug thread are all different. LX Charger wheels do not bolt to the Daytona EV and Daytona EV wheels do not bolt to an LX Charger. Treat them as separate cars when shopping wheels.
Can you run a staggered setup on an AWD Charger?
No. The AWD Charger (across all three AWD eras: 2005-2010, 2011-2017, and 2018-2026) runs square only. A staggered setup forces the drivetrain to run different rotational speeds front to rear and the AWD transfer case will damage itself over time. Our catalog tracks the AWD Charger as a non-staggered fitment across every era. RWD Charger trims accept staggered as an option, and most aftermarket RWD builds run staggered for the look.
Do the three LX Charger brake packages fit the same wheels?
On the 2015 and newer LX cars, the three brake packages each ship a different caliper height. Standard brakes have the most inner clearance, 4-piston Brembo narrows the window, and 6-piston Brembo (Hellcat, SRT) is the tightest. We track the three as separate fitments because the inner clearance window shifts. Wheels designed for standard brakes can still fit Brembo cars but the inner spoke clearance has to be confirmed. Wheels designed for 6-piston Brembo will fit standard brake cars without issue.
Do Challenger and Charger share wheels?
Yes, within the same brake and trim combination on the LX platform. The Challenger and the Charger share the Stellantis LX chassis from 2008 forward (Charger from 2005) and use the same 5x115 bolt pattern, 71.5mm hub bore, and brake hardware. A Challenger RWD with 6-piston Brembo and a Charger RWD with 6-piston Brembo bolt the same wheels with the same offset window. AWD Challenger and AWD Charger also cross. The fender shape, the trunk lid, and the door count are different, but the wheels are interchangeable on matching brake and trim combinations within the LX platform.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Dodge Charger?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than the Charger's factory hub. The LX Charger hub bore is 71.5mm. The Daytona EV and the classic B-body are 71.6mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
