Cadillac Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

Cadillac is one of the highest volume luxury platforms in our customer base, anchored by the CTS, CT5, ATS, Escalade, and the XT5 and XT6 SUVs. The CTS-V and CT5-V Blackwing carry the enthusiast aftermarket volume. The Escalade leads the full size SUV side. Cadillac fitment splits across several patterns depending on the chassis. The CTS, CT5, CT6, ATS, CT4 sedans, and XT4 crossover use 5x120. The De Ville, DTS, Seville, El Dorado, STS, ELR, Cascada, and older Buicks use 5x115. The XT5 and XT6 use 6x120 shared with the GMC Acadia second generation. The Escalade uses 6x139.7 shared with the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban. The Lyriq EV uses 6x132. The XLR uses 5x120.65. The Catera uses 5x110. Element Wheels has measured fitment across the majority of Cadillac platforms in our 20-model catalog so the wheels we show you have been validated for your exact chassis and brake setup. Pick your Cadillac model below and you can rest assured the wheels and rims will fit the way you want every time.

The Cadillac Bolt Pattern Landscape

Cadillac runs more bolt patterns than most luxury brands because the lineup spans sedans, SUVs, full size trucks, and EVs on different chassis.

Cadillac bolt patterns at a glance

Modern Cadillac sedans and crossover (CTS, CT5, CT6, XT4): 5x120.

Cadillac ATS, CT4, and older sedans (De Ville, DTS, Seville, El Dorado, STS, ELR): 5x115.

XT5 and XT6 (2017-2026): 6x120. Shared with the second generation GMC Acadia.

Escalade (2002-2026): 6x139.7. The first generation Escalade EXT used 6x139.7. The Escalade iQ (2025+) moves to 8x165, the heavy-duty truck pattern.

Lyriq (2023-2026): 6x132.

XLR (2004-2009): 5x120.65. Shared with the Corvette of the same era.

Catera (1997-2001): 5x110.

The 5x120 versus 5x115 split between the modern CTS/CT5 and the older De Ville/DTS is the biggest source of cross shopping confusion. The Escalade 6x139.7 will not cross to the XT5 or XT6 even though both are Cadillac SUVs.

The CTS-V, CT5-V Blackwing, and Cadillac Brake Clearance

The CTS-V (2nd and 3rd generation, 2009-2019) and CT5-V Blackwing are the Cadillac brake clearance challenge. Both run Brembo 6 piston front calipers, with the CT5-V Blackwing adding an optional carbon ceramic upgrade. The carbon ceramic option narrows the wheel clearance window further than the steel brake variant. A wheel that fits a base CTS will not always clear the V brakes. The available factory wheel diameters are tied to the brake package for this reason.

The ATS-V sits below the CTS-V in brake size but still runs Brembo 4 piston calipers that demand more clearance than the base ATS. The CT4-V Blackwing took the ATS-V brake package and pushed it further with larger rotors. Each V trim is tracked separately because the brake clearance windows narrow as the brake package grows.

The Escalade and XT5/XT6 SUVs use different bolt patterns from each other and from the sedan lineup. A wheel that fits a CTS will not fit an Escalade. The Brembo-equipped Escalade (sharing its brake kit with the Escalade-V) demands tighter wheel clearance than the base-brake Escalade. Brembo brakes narrow the clearance window on any platform that offers them.

How Element handles Cadillac fitment

The CTS-V, CT5-V Blackwing, ATS-V, CT4-V Blackwing, and Escalade-V are each tracked separately from their base trims because of the Brembo brake clearance. The XT5 and XT6 are tracked separately from the Escalade because the 6x120 sedan-share pattern and 6x139.7 truck pattern do not cross. The Lyriq is tracked separately as the new 6x132 EV pattern.

How We Confirm Fitment

Element Wheels measures fitment on Cadillac models we sell wheels for. For each chassis and brake combination we measure clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and any suspension components, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, lug height, and how much room the front wheel has when turning lock to lock. We do this on the car, not from a spec sheet.

That measurement work covers the most active Cadillac platforms across the catalog. The CTS-V, CT5-V Blackwing, ATS-V, CT4-V Blackwing, and Escalade-V are each tracked separately because of the Brembo brake clearance windows. The XT5 and XT6 are tracked separately from the Escalade because of the bolt pattern split. The Catera is tracked separately as the only 5x110 Cadillac.

Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.

Cadillac Wheel and Rim FAQ

What is the most popular Cadillac aftermarket platform?

The CTS leads Cadillac aftermarket volume, followed by the CT5, ATS, Escalade, and XT5. The CTS-V and CT5-V Blackwing carry the enthusiast aftermarket volume.

What is the Cadillac bolt pattern?

It depends on the model. Modern sedans (CTS, CT5, CT6, ATS, CT4, XT4) use 5x120. Older sedans (De Ville, DTS, Seville) use 5x115. The XT5 and XT6 use 6x120. The Escalade uses 6x139.7. The Lyriq uses 6x132. The XLR used 5x120.65. The Catera used 5x110.

Will CTS wheels fit a CT5?

Yes. Both modern CTS (third generation) and CT5 use 5x120. The brake clearance and offset windows differ slightly because the CT5 platform is shorter, and the V-trim brake clearance is significantly different. Confirm offset and brake specs when cross shopping.

Are the CTS and CTS-V wheels interchangeable?

They share the same 5x120 bolt pattern, but the CTS-V runs wider wheels, lower offsets, Brembo 6 piston brakes, and wider tires than the base CTS. The CT5-V Blackwing pushes the spec even further. A base CTS wheel on a CTS-V will look too narrow and may not clear the brake. A CTS-V wheel on a base CTS will stick past the fender or rub the suspension. The two share a chassis but the wheel fitment is a different family. We track them separately.

Are Cadillac wheels staggered?

Modern Cadillac sedans ship square from the factory in most trims. The CTS-V Coupe and the CT5-V Blackwing ship staggered with a wider rear wheel. Aftermarket staggered builds are common on the CTS, CT5, and ATS as a styling choice. The Escalade and XT5/XT6 ship square.

Will Escalade wheels fit an XT5 or XT6?

No. The Escalade uses 6x139.7 (shared with the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon). The XT5 and XT6 use 6x120 (shared with the second generation GMC Acadia). Different bolt patterns. The wheels do not cross between Cadillac SUV families.

How do I find wheels for my specific Cadillac?

Pick your Cadillac model from the list above. Each model page covers the generations we have measured, with bolt pattern, offset window, and fitment specifics for each year range and trim. If you are not sure which generation or trim you have, our team can identify your exact configuration from your VIN.
