Dodge Caliber Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Dodge Caliber was Dodge's compact five-door hatchback from 2007 through 2012. It was built on the Mitsubishi-Chrysler PJ compact platform, which also produced the first generation Jeep Compass MK and the Jeep Patriot of the same era. The Caliber ran SE, SXT, R/T, and the turbocharged SRT4 trims across its production run. Every Caliber we have measured uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts, including the SRT4. The aftermarket window stays consistent across the trim ladder at the bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug spec level. Dodge discontinued the Caliber after the 2012 model year and the compact hatchback was replaced in the Dodge lineup by the Dart (a different platform on a different bolt pattern). Element Wheels measures fitment on the Caliber directly and tracks the PJ platform as a family. Find your wheels and rims below.
The Dodge Caliber Bolt Pattern and Lug Spec
Every 2007-2012 Dodge Caliber uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore. The Caliber inherits the bolt pattern from the Mitsubishi-Chrysler PJ chassis it sits on, and the same pattern carries over to the first generation Jeep Compass MK (2007-2017) and the Jeep Patriot (2007-2017) on the same platform. The Caliber uses M12x1.5 lug nuts on traditional studs, so the wheel mounts with a centering ring at the hub and torques to the studs through the wheel. The pattern is also referred to as 5x4.5 in some listings, because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches. A wheel labeled "5x4.5" is the same as 5x114.3 and will fit a Caliber.
The detail to watch on this car: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as 5x115. The two patterns are separated by 0.7mm and the studs do not line up cleanly. The Dodge Charger and Challenger run 5x115, so wheels from those cars do not fit a Caliber. 5x114.3 is also NOT the same as 5x110, which is the pattern on the Dart and the Cherokee KL. The Caliber runs the older Mitsubishi-derived 5x114.3 pattern, not the newer Fiat-Chrysler CUSW 5x110. Compare across the rest of the Dodge lineup at our Dodge wheels and rims hub.
How Caliber Trim and the SRT4 Affect Wheel Choice
The Caliber was offered as a front wheel drive hatchback across most trims, with all wheel drive available on select SXT and R/T configurations through the Caliber's Freedom Drive system. The turbocharged SRT4 (2008-2009) was front wheel drive only. The bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug spec are identical across SE, SXT, R/T, and SRT4. Drivetrain is not a fitment box axis on the Caliber because the AWD system on this platform uses matching wheel and tire sizes on every corner, the same as the front wheel drive variants. None of the Caliber trims, including the SRT4, accept staggered fitment as a recommended setup. Run matched wheel and tire sizes on all four corners.
The SRT4 is the trim worth flagging on this car. The 2.4L turbocharged engine and the upgraded suspension change the way the car drives, and the SRT4 ran a larger factory wheel package (18 to 19 inch from the factory) than the base SE and SXT trims. If you have an SRT4 and you are running an aftermarket wheel with deep concavity behind the spoke face, call us before ordering. We measure the SRT4 against the base Caliber catalog row and the bolt math is identical, but the larger SRT4 brake package on the front can be the constraint on aggressively concave aftermarket designs.
Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Dodge Caliber
Publishable factory and wheel specs for the Caliber:
- Dodge Caliber (2007-2012, all trims including SRT4): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore, M12x1.5 lug nuts, 5 lug. Element aftermarket diameter range: 15-20 inch. Aftermarket width range: 6-8.5 inch front and rear. Square fitment.
For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:
- 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Caliber (each listing shows its own offset).
- 2. Browse the Dodge Caliber wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
- 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation, particularly on the SRT4 if you are running a deeply concave aftermarket design.
Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
The PJ Platform: Caliber, Jeep Compass MK, Jeep Patriot
The Caliber is one of three Chrysler-Jeep products built on the PJ compact platform. The first generation Jeep Compass MK (2007-2017) and the Jeep Patriot (2007-2017) share the same chassis and the same 5x114.3 / 67.1mm hub interface. If you have owned one of those Jeeps, the bolt math will look familiar. Wheels designed for a Compass MK or a Patriot will physically thread onto a Caliber at the hub. The aftermarket offset window does not cross cleanly because the two Jeeps are taller crossovers and SUVs with different fender geometry, but the bolt pattern and hub bore match. The Compass MK ran longer than the Caliber because Jeep kept the platform alive until the second generation Compass arrived for 2017.
Within the PJ family the hub geometry crosses cleanly at the bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug spec level. The Caliber and the SRT4 trim do not share patterns with the Dart that replaced the Caliber in the Dodge lineup; the Dart moved to the Fiat-Chrysler CUSW platform with 5x110 and a 65.1mm hub bore, which does not cross to a PJ platform car. Customers occasionally cross-shop wheels between a Caliber and a Dart on the assumption that "the Dart replaced the Caliber" means they share fitment. They do not. The replacement was a complete platform change, not a refresh.
How We Confirm Fitment on Dodge Caliber Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the Caliber directly across the 2007-2012 production run, including the SRT4. For the Caliber that means clearance from the wheel to the fender on both axles, gap between the back of the wheel and the strut and suspension components, brake caliper height (the SRT4 front brake is the variable to watch on deeply concave designs), hub bore confirmation at 67.1mm, lug seat depth for the M12x1.5 thread, and turning clearance on the front at full lock. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.
Dodge Caliber Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Dodge Caliber?
Every 2007-2012 Dodge Caliber uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts. The bolt pattern is the same across SE, SXT, R/T, and SRT4 trims. The Caliber inherits the pattern from the Mitsubishi-Chrysler PJ compact platform.
Does the Caliber SRT4 use a different bolt pattern from the base Caliber?
No. The SRT4 shares the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore, and M12x1.5 lug spec as the rest of the Caliber lineup. What changes on the SRT4 is the brake package on the front (larger rotor and caliper sized for the turbocharged 2.4L) and the factory wheel size (18 to 19 inch on the SRT4 versus 15 to 18 inch across the base trims). If you are running a deeply concave aftermarket design on an SRT4, call us before ordering so we can verify the front brake clearance.
Will Jeep Compass or Patriot wheels fit a Dodge Caliber?
At the bolt pattern level, yes. The first generation Jeep Compass MK (2007-2017) and the Jeep Patriot (2007-2017) share the PJ platform with the Caliber and use the same 5x114.3 / 67.1mm interface. A Compass MK or Patriot wheel will physically thread onto a Caliber at the hub. The aftermarket offset window does not cross cleanly because the Jeeps are taller crossovers with different fender geometry, so a wheel that sits flush on a Compass may tuck on the lower Caliber.
Will Dodge Dart wheels fit a Caliber?
No. The Dart runs 5x110 with a 65.1mm hub bore and M12x1.25 lug nuts on the Fiat-Chrysler CUSW platform. The Caliber runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts on the PJ platform. Even though the Dart effectively replaced the Caliber in the Dodge lineup for 2013, the replacement was a complete platform change. Dart wheels do not bolt to a Caliber and Caliber wheels do not bolt to a Dart.
Are Dodge Caliber wheels staggered?
No. The Caliber is a front wheel drive hatchback (with optional all wheel drive on select SXT and R/T trims) and runs square (same width front and rear) from the factory across every trim, including the SRT4. The aftermarket sticks to square. Run matched wheel and tire sizes on all four corners.
What size wheels came on the Dodge Caliber from the factory?
Factory wheel sizes on the Caliber ran from 15 to 19 inch depending on year and trim. Base SE trims came on 15 to 16 inch steel wheels or alloys. SXT and R/T trims ran 17 to 18 inch. The SRT4 (2008-2009) shipped on 18 to 19 inch factory alloys. Element aftermarket coverage runs 15-20 inch, with 17 to 18 inch being the most common aftermarket choice on the platform.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Dodge Caliber?
Our measured aftermarket window on the Caliber tops at 20 inch with widths up to 8.5 inch on both axles. Above 20 inch the tire sidewall thins to a point where ride quality drops sharply and curb damage risk climbs on a compact hatchback platform. 17 or 18 inch tends to give the best balance of look and ride on the Caliber.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Dodge Caliber?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 67.1mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
