Dodge Magnum Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Dodge Magnum is a 2005-2008 LX-platform wagon, built alongside the 300 and the Charger on the same Chrysler chassis architecture. Element Wheels measures fitment on every Magnum trim we cover: rear wheel drive base, SE, SXT, and R/T; all wheel drive R/T; and the SRT8 6.1L HEMI flagship with the Brembo front brake package. Every Magnum we cover uses the same 5x115 bolt pattern with a 71.5mm hub bore, M14x1.5 lug thread, and 5 lugs. Pick the trim row below.
Find Your Dodge Magnum Trim
The 2005-2008 Magnum splits into three fitment rows based on drivetrain and brake package. Bolt pattern stays 5x115 across every trim, but the SRT8's front Brembo brake assembly is bigger than the standard front brake, and the AWD drivetrain locks fitment into a must-be-square configuration. Pick your trim below.
The Dodge Magnum Bolt Pattern
Every 2005-2008 Dodge Magnum uses a 5x115 bolt pattern with a 71.5mm hub bore and an M14x1.5 lug thread. The 5x115 pattern carries across the entire LX platform of that era, which means the Magnum shares its hub geometry with the Chrysler 300, the Dodge Charger, and the later Dodge Challenger. A wheel that fits a 2006 Charger R/T also fits a 2006 Magnum R/T of the same year, all else equal. This is one of the few platform-wide hub consistencies that customers can actually use when cross-shopping the aftermarket.
Important distinction: 5x115 is NOT the same as 5x114.3. The two patterns sit only about 0.7mm apart on the bolt circle, which is close enough to look interchangeable on a spec sheet but far enough apart that running a 5x114.3 wheel on a 5x115 hub will stress the studs and is a safety concern. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname (114.3mm = 4.5 inch) refers only to 5x114.3, never to 5x115. The Magnum is 5x115 specifically. Compare across the rest of the Dodge lineup at our Dodge wheels and rims hub.
Trim Differences Across the Dodge Magnum
The Magnum has three fitment rows because of two factors that move with the trim: drivetrain and brake package. Bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug thread are identical across every Magnum we cover. What changes is the offset window and the stagger geometry.
The rear wheel drive Magnum (base, SE, SXT, R/T) accepts either a square fitment or a staggered fitment, customer preference. The all wheel drive R/T must run a square fitment because the AWD system requires the same rolling diameter at all four corners. The SRT8 carries a meaningfully larger front Brembo brake assembly than the standard car; aftermarket wheels that clear a base Magnum's front caliper still need to be checked against the SRT8's front Brembo specifically before they will fit. The SRT8 was rear wheel drive only; there was no AWD SRT8 Magnum.
Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Dodge Magnum
Publishable factory and wheel specs across the Magnum trims we cover:
- 2005-2008 Magnum RWD (base, SE, SXT, R/T): 5x115 bolt pattern, 71.5mm hub bore, M14x1.5 lug thread, 5 lug. Element aftermarket diameter range: 18-24 inch. Aftermarket width range: 7.5-10 inch front, 8.5-10.5 inch rear. Square or staggered allowed. Same brake size front and rear.
- 2005-2008 Magnum AWD (R/T AWD): 5x115 bolt pattern, 71.5mm hub bore, M14x1.5 lug thread, 5 lug. Element aftermarket diameter range: 18-24 inch. Aftermarket width range: 7.5-10 inch. Must be square (AWD constraint). Same brake size front and rear.
- 2005-2008 Magnum SRT8 (6.1L HEMI): 5x115 bolt pattern, 71.5mm hub bore, M14x1.5 lug thread, 5 lug. Element aftermarket diameter range: 18-24 inch. Aftermarket width range: 8-10 inch front, 9-10.5 inch rear. Square or staggered allowed. Larger front Brembo brake than rear; confirm caliper clearance on the front wheel before ordering.
For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:
- 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Magnum (each listing shows its own offset).
- 2. Browse the Magnum wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
- 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.
Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
How We Confirm Fitment on Dodge Magnum Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the Magnum directly, across the rear wheel drive trims, the all wheel drive R/T, and the SRT8 with its 6.1L HEMI and front Brembo brake package. For the Magnum that means hub bore confirmation at 71.5mm, clearance from the wheel to the fender on a stock-height car, gap between the back of the wheel and the front strut, brake caliper height at both the standard LX spec and the SRT8's bigger front Brembo, lug seat depth, and lug thread confirmation at M14x1.5. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull these from manufacturer spec sheets the way most retailers do.
Dodge Magnum Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Dodge Magnum?
Every 2005-2008 Dodge Magnum uses a 5x115 bolt pattern with a 71.5mm hub bore and an M14x1.5 lug thread. The pattern is shared across the entire Chrysler LX platform of that era (Magnum, 300, Charger, and the later Challenger).
Is 5x115 the same as 5x114.3?
No. 5x115 and 5x114.3 are distinct bolt patterns. They sit only about 0.7mm apart on the hub circle, which is close enough to look interchangeable on a spec sheet but far enough that running a 5x114.3 wheel on a 5x115 hub will stress the wheel studs and become a safety concern. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname (114.3mm = 4.5 inch) refers only to 5x114.3, never to 5x115. The Magnum is 5x115 specifically.
Does the SRT8 Magnum need different wheels than the R/T?
Same 5x115 bolt pattern, same 71.5mm hub bore, same M14x1.5 lug thread. What changes is the front brake. The SRT8 carries a larger front Brembo brake assembly than the standard R/T. Aftermarket wheels that clear a base Magnum's front caliper still need to be checked against the SRT8's front Brembo specifically before they will fit. If you have an SRT8, mention the trim when you contact us and we'll confirm caliper clearance on the front wheel before the order ships.
Can I run a staggered setup on a Magnum AWD?
No. The all wheel drive Magnum R/T must run a square fitment, all four corners the same diameter and width. AWD systems on this platform require the same rolling diameter at every wheel; running different-size front and rear wheels on AWD causes driveline binding and accelerates wear on the transfer case. The rear wheel drive Magnum and the rear wheel drive SRT8 can run either square or staggered, customer preference.
Will Chrysler 300 or Dodge Charger wheels fit a Magnum?
Yes, with matching trim. The Magnum shares the LX chassis with the 2005+ Chrysler 300 and the 2006+ Dodge Charger. Same 5x115 bolt pattern, same 71.5mm hub bore, same M14x1.5 lug thread, similar brake geometry by trim level. A wheel built for an SRT8 300 also clears the SRT8 Magnum's front Brembo. A wheel built for a base 300 also clears a base Magnum. Match trim to trim and you can cross-shop the LX platform with confidence.
Is the Magnum discontinued?
Yes. Dodge ended Magnum production in North America after the 2008 model year. The LX-platform wagon body style was not carried over to the LD/LX-2 generation that the 300 and Charger continued on. Our catalog continues to support the 2005-2008 Magnum indefinitely.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Dodge Magnum?
24 inch is the top of our measured aftermarket window on the Magnum. The factory wheel range was 17 to 20 inch depending on trim (the SRT8 came on 20 inch from the dealer). 20 to 22 inch is the most common Magnum aftermarket choice. 24 inch works on the rear wheel drive trims for show-build use and clears comfortably on the LX wagon's wide rear quarters; on the AWD R/T, going above 22 inch starts to compress ride quality enough that most customers stay 20 to 22.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Dodge Magnum?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than the Magnum's 71.5mm factory hub bore. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
