Ford Five Hundred Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Ford Five Hundred was Ford's full-size sedan, produced for three model years only (2005, 2006, and 2007) before Ford renamed the car to Taurus for the 2008 model year. The Five Hundred sits on the Ford D3 platform, which Ford shared with the Mercury Montego of the same era and which carried forward into the 5th gen and 6th gen Taurus (2008-2019). Every 2005-2007 Five Hundred runs 5x114.3 with a 63.36mm hub bore. Element Wheels measures fitment on the Five Hundred as its own row, and the same fitment work covers the 2008-2009 Taurus that replaced it on the same chassis. Find your year range below.
Find Your Ford Five Hundred
The Five Hundred ran for three model years on a single chassis. Every Five Hundred built (2005, 2006, 2007) shares the same bolt pattern, hub bore, and fitment window. Pick the year range below to see wheels and rims that fit your specific Five Hundred.
The Ford Five Hundred Bolt Pattern
Every 2005-2007 Ford Five Hundred runs 5x114.3 (also imperial-spec'd as 5x4.5) with a 63.36mm hub bore. 5x114.3 is one of the most common Ford 5-lug patterns of the era, also used on the Edge, the Flex, the modern Explorer, and the Lincoln MKS that shared the D3 platform with the Five Hundred. There is one bolt pattern across the entire Five Hundred production run because the chassis itself did not change inside those three model years.
A quick safety note on the Five Hundred pattern. 5x114.3 (5x4.5) is a different pattern from 5x108 (Ford metric, 5x4.25 imperial), and from 5x115 and 5x127. The patterns look visually similar on a 5-lug hub but the stud spacing is different and the wrong wheel will not seat correctly. Confirm the millimeter spec on the wheel listing before buying. Compare against the rest of the Ford lineup at our Ford wheels and rims hub.
The Five Hundred Became the Taurus, Same Chassis
For the 2008 model year, Ford renamed the Five Hundred to Taurus. The chassis underneath did not change. The 2008-2009 5th gen Taurus is the same Ford D3 platform car as the 2005-2007 Five Hundred, just rebadged with the Taurus nameplate that had been on hiatus since the original 4th gen Taurus was discontinued after the 2006 model year. The 2008-2009 Taurus carries the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern and the same nominal 63.4mm hub bore that the Five Hundred ran. A wheel that fits a 2005-2007 Five Hundred also fits a 2008-2009 Taurus, because the underlying car is the same. We list them as separate catalog rows because customers shop them as separate models, but the fitment work is shared.
The Five Hundred runs square (same width front and rear) on every year. It is a front-wheel-drive sedan (with optional all-wheel-drive on Limited trim) where tire rotation between front and rear is part of the maintenance routine, and the AWD trims would bind on a staggered setup. There is no factory staggered Five Hundred in any year. Brake size is matched front and rear across the catalog row.

How We Confirm Fitment on Ford Five Hundred Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including the Ford Five Hundred and its renamed Taurus sister of the same chassis. For the Five Hundred that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper clearance on the brake package matched front to rear, hub bore confirmation (63.36mm), lug seat geometry, and turning clearance on a front-drive full-size sedan with optional all-wheel-drive. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.
Ford Five Hundred Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Ford Five Hundred?
Every 2005-2007 Ford Five Hundred runs 5x114.3 (5x4.5) with a 63.36mm hub bore. There is one bolt pattern across the entire Five Hundred production run because the chassis itself did not change inside those three model years. 5x114.3 is the same Ford 5-lug pattern Ford carried forward onto the renamed 2008-2019 Taurus.
What years was the Ford Five Hundred made?
The Ford Five Hundred was produced for the 2005, 2006, and 2007 model years. For the 2008 model year, Ford renamed the car to Taurus, reviving a nameplate that had been on hiatus since the original 4th gen Taurus was discontinued after 2006. The 2008 and newer Taurus is the same Ford D3 platform car as the 2005-2007 Five Hundred, just renamed.
Will Ford Taurus wheels fit a Ford Five Hundred?
Yes, when the year range matches. The 2008 and newer Taurus is the same D3 chassis car as the 2005-2007 Five Hundred, just renamed. A 2008-2009 5th gen Taurus wheel bolts to a 2005-2007 Five Hundred. Older 4th gen and earlier Taurus models (1986-2006) use a different bolt pattern (5x108) and will NOT fit the Five Hundred. The renamed Taurus is what bolts up. The original Taurus is a different car on a different chassis.
What is the hub bore on a Ford Five Hundred?
63.36mm on the Ford Five Hundred. The renamed 2008-2019 Taurus uses a nominally identical 63.4mm hub bore. The two specs are the same hub size with rounding differences between source documents. Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 63.4mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
Are Ford Five Hundred wheels staggered?
No. The Five Hundred runs square (same width front and rear) on every year. The standard car is front-wheel-drive where tire rotation between front and rear is part of the maintenance routine, and the optional AWD trim would bind on a staggered setup. There is no factory staggered Five Hundred in any year.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Ford Five Hundred?
Our measured aftermarket window on the Five Hundred tops at 20 inch diameter. Width window runs 7 to 8.5 inch square. Most Five Hundred builds land at 18 or 19 inch where tire selection is widest for the D3 platform's stock fender geometry. Going past 20 inch on the original Five Hundred body becomes a tire-availability problem and the fender clearance margin shrinks.
Does the Ford Five Hundred have different brakes front and rear?
No. The Five Hundred carries a brake package matched front to rear across the production run. There is no performance variant of the Five Hundred (no SHO trim until the 6th gen Taurus, 2010 and newer). Aftermarket fitment on the Five Hundred does not need to account for a larger front caliper or a trim-specific brake upgrade.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Ford Five Hundred?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 63.4mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
