The I35 followed with the larger 3.5L V6 on the same A33 chassis and was itself replaced by the M-series for the 2006 model year. Every Infiniti I30 and I35 runs the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, also called 5x4.5 imperial (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches exactly), with a 66.1mm factory hub bore and 12x1.25 lug thread. The pattern is consistent across both nameplates and every model year. The I30 and I35 sit on the Nissan A32 (1996-1999) and A33 (2000-2005) Maxima chassis, sold in the US under the Infiniti badge as a step up from the Maxima with more luxury content and a different interior. Wheels that fit a same-year Nissan Maxima A32 or A33 will fit the corresponding Infiniti I30 or I35 because the chassis is shared at the platform level.

A cross-pattern caution that applies to every 5x114.3 platform: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as the 5x115 pattern used on Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, and similar American sedans. The two patterns sit roughly 0.7mm apart and are not interchangeable, even though the difference sounds tiny. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers only to 5x114.3 (because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches exactly). Calling 5x115 by the 5x4.5 imperial nickname is wrong and forcing a 5x115 wheel onto a 5x114.3 hub puts the stud loading off-center, which is a safety issue. Stick to wheels listed for 5x114.3 specifically.

The I30 was offered from 1996 through 2001 with the 3.0L VQ30DE V6, and Infiniti renamed the midsize sedan to I35 for the 2002 model year when the engine moved up to the 3.5L VQ35DE V6 on the same A33 Maxima chassis. The I35 was discontinued after the 2004 model year publicly, and our catalog covers the I35 through 2005. The midsize Infiniti slot was replaced by the M-series (M35, M45) for the 2006 model year. The successor M-series moved to a rear drive FM platform chassis and changed the entire character of Infiniti's midsize sedan offering. Why the I30 and I35 Run a Smaller Aftermarket Window Than the M-Series

The I30 and I35 are front wheel drive across every model year. That is the single most important fact about their fitment window. A FWD midsize luxury sedan does not have the fender clearance, the brake clearance, or the suspension geometry to take the kind of large diameter and aggressive offset setup the rear drive M-series and G35 sedan handle. The Element measured aftermarket diameter window tops at 20 inch on both the I30 and the I35, with most builds landing in the 17 to 18 inch range where the car's factory ride compromise stays intact. Aftermarket width tops at 8.5 inch front and rear. Stagger is not in the catalog because the I30 and I35 are square-only as front drive cars.

Lowering, plus-sizing past 18 inch, or aggressive low-offset setups on an I30 or I35 all need the right wheel and tire profile to keep the car drivable. The I-series was designed around a soft midsize luxury ride, so any setup that pushes the tire sidewall too thin or the offset too low past factory takes that ride quality the wrong direction. The conservative aftermarket move on an I30 or I35 is one step up from factory diameter with a tire profile that preserves rolling diameter and a moderate offset that keeps the wheel inside the fender.
