The Kia K900 Bolt Pattern

Every Kia K900 in our catalog uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and a 12x1.5 lug thread. The imperial nickname for 5x114.3 is 5x4.5, since 114.3mm equals exactly 4.5 inches. That pattern is the Hyundai-Kia rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan standard. Both K900 generations were built on Hyundai Motor Group's premium rear-wheel-drive sedan architecture, the same engineering family that underpinned the Hyundai Equus and the Genesis G90 of the same era. The bolt pattern carried unchanged across the 2019 K900 redesign.

Worth flagging because we see it confuse buyers. 5x114.3 is NOT the same as 5x115. The two patterns sit about 0.7mm apart on the hub circle and a wheel built for one will not properly seat on the other. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers to 5x114.3 only. The 5x115 pattern used on the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Cadillac CTS will not fit a K900. Sometimes the K900 is shopped against those cars for visual reasons (it is a similar-class luxury sedan with a premium presence), but the wheels do not cross. Stick to 5x114.3 / 5x4.5 specifically.

Kia discontinued the K900 in the United States after the 2020 model year. There is no successor in the Kia lineup; Kia exited the large-luxury-sedan segment in the US and now focuses its flagship effort on the EV9 large electric SUV. K900 Staggered Fitment and the Larger Front Brake

The K900 is the only car in the Kia legacy sedan family where staggered fitment is a real option. Most K900 buyers run a square setup (same wheel front and rear), but the chassis supports a wider rear wheel for a more aggressive flagship-sedan stance. Our catalog window allows up to a 9 inch wide front and a 10.5 inch wide rear, which is a half-inch to one-and-a-half-inch rear stagger depending on the front choice. The car is rear-wheel-drive (with available all-wheel-drive on the 2nd gen RJ), and the rear-bias drivetrain layout supports the wider-rear setup without the drivetrain-damage risk that a true stagger creates on a transverse-mounted front-wheel-drive car. If you prefer the cleaner look of a true matched set, square fitment is also fine and is the more common pick on the K900.

The K900 also runs a measurably larger front brake than rear, on both the 1st gen KH and the 2nd gen RJ. That configuration is normal on a full-size luxury sedan of this caliber; the front axle does the majority of the braking work at this curb weight (4,400+ pounds) and the front rotor and caliper scale up accordingly. The larger front caliper takes more inner-barrel clearance behind the wheel face. How We Confirm Fitment on Kia K900 Wheels

For the K900 that means clearance from the wheel to the fender (front and rear separately when staggered), gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, front brake caliper height (which is larger than the rear on both generations), hub bore confirmation on the 67.1mm hub, lug seat geometry across the 12x1.5 thread pitch, and turning clearance at full lock.
