Every Kia Niro in our catalog uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and a 12x1.5 lug thread. The imperial nickname for 5x114.3 is 5x4.5, since 114.3mm equals exactly 4.5 inches. That pattern is the modern Hyundai-Kia compact and midsize unibody crossover standard, shared with the Kia Soul, the Kia Sportage, the Hyundai Kona, the Hyundai Tucson, and the Hyundai-Kia mid-size sedan and crossover family in general. It is also one of the most common 5-lug patterns in the modern automotive market more broadly, used on the Honda Civic from 2004 forward, the Nissan Altima, most Toyota Camry generations, and the Mazda3 and Mazda6.

Worth flagging because we see it confuse buyers. 5x114.3 is NOT the same as 5x115. The two patterns sit about 0.7mm apart on the hub circle and a wheel built for one will not properly seat on the other. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers to 5x114.3 only. The 5x115 pattern used on the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Cadillac CTS will not fit a Niro. Stick to 5x114.3 / 5x4.5 specifically.

The Niro is sold in three powertrain configurations in the United States: the Niro Hybrid (HEV), the Niro Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), and the Niro EV (a battery-electric crossover). All three powertrains within a generation share the same bolt pattern, hub bore, and thread pitch. Bolt pattern is 5x114.3, hub bore is 67.1mm, thread is 12x1.5 across the board. The Niro EV carries more curb weight than the HEV and PHEV variants because of its battery pack, so load rating on the tire is the spec to confirm when sizing for an EV. Wheel selection itself is the same: a wheel that fits a Niro HEV will fit a Niro EV of the same generation, with the tire load rating being the EV-specific check.
