McLaren Artura Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The 2023 and up McLaren Artura is McLaren's hybrid mid-engine supercar, built on the all-new MCLA (McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture) tub and powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 paired with an electric motor and a small battery pack. The Artura is a clean-sheet platform for McLaren rather than a refresh of any prior car. It launched in 2023 alongside the V8 Super Series (the 720S, succeeded by the 750S for 2024) and after the 570S Sports Series wound down in 2020. The Artura Coupe launched in 2023, with the Artura Spider following in the 2024 model year on the same chassis. Every Artura uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 66.56mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts. The 66.56mm centerbore is one of the key fitment differences between the Artura and the rest of the McLaren lineup. The 570S and 720S families both use a 57.1mm bore, so an Artura wheel and a 720S wheel are not interchangeable even though the bolt pattern matches. The Artura is also a must-staggered car from the factory with a wider rear wheel and tire than the front, and the front brake package is larger than the rear. Element Wheels measures Artura fitment directly on the car at our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona. Pick your variant below.

Find Your McLaren Artura Variant

The Artura Coupe and Artura Spider share the same MCLA carbon fiber tub, the same suspension geometry, the same brake hardware, and the same wheel mounting interface. A wheel that fits an Artura Coupe will fit an Artura Spider on the same fitment math. Both variants are 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore on M14x1.5 lug bolts and both are staggered from the factory.

The McLaren Artura Bolt Pattern and Lug Bolts

Every 2023 and up McLaren Artura, Coupe and Spider, uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 66.56mm hub bore. The 5x112 pattern is the same VW Group passenger-car spec used on most modern Audi sedans, the Audi R8, the Lamborghini Gallardo, the 5-lug Lamborghini Huracan, the McLaren 570S Sports Series, and the McLaren 720S Super Series. The Artura's 66.56mm centerbore is the one spec that separates it from the rest of the McLaren range. The 570S and 720S families both use a 57.1mm bore. A 720S wheel will not seat hub-centric on an Artura hub even though the bolt pattern and lug thread match, and the reverse is also true. Treat the Artura as its own fitment family, not as a continuation of the 570S or 720S box.

The Artura mounts wheels with lug bolts rather than lug nuts on studs. A lug bolt is a single fastener that threads directly into the hub, so the wheel is held to the hub by the bolt itself rather than dropped onto pre-installed studs. The thread spec on the Artura is M14x1.5. There is no stud to align the wheel before tightening, so the hub-centric fit on the 66.56mm bore and the correct bolt length both matter more on an Artura than on a stud-and-nut car. The wrong bolt length is the most common Artura installation mistake we see, so we ship the correct bolts with every McLaren Artura wheel order. Compare across the rest of the McLaren lineup at our McLaren wheels and rims hub.

Why Every McLaren Artura Runs Staggered Fitment

The Artura is a mid-engine, rear-drive hybrid McLaren with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 and an electric motor packaged into the eight-speed gearbox housing. The rear tires put down the combined power and the rear track is wider than the front, so McLaren specs a wider rear wheel and tire on every Artura. From the factory the Artura ran a 19x8.5 front and a 20x11 rear, paired with 235/35R19 fronts and 295/35R20 rears on Pirelli P Zero rubber. Element's aftermarket window on the Artura covers 19 to 21 inch diameter, with front widths in the 8.5 to 9 inch range and rear widths in the 11 to 12 inch range. We do not recommend square setups on an Artura. The MCLA chassis is engineered around the staggered geometry and the rear arches are physically wider than the fronts, the same as the 570S and 720S families before it.

The Artura has a larger front brake package than rear. That is normal on a performance car of this class. The front axle does the majority of the braking work and McLaren scales the front rotor and caliper accordingly. Every Artura shipped from the factory with a carbon ceramic brake package as standard equipment, with a 390mm front rotor paired with a 6-piston caliper and a 380mm rear rotor with a 4-piston caliper. The Artura's brake calipers sit slightly taller than the 570S and 720S front package, which tightens the inner-barrel clearance margin on the front wheel further. This is one of the variables we measure on the Artura directly rather than estimating from factory spec sheets, and it is part of why we keep the Artura as a separate fitment family from the 570S and 720S even on identical-on-paper wheel sizes.

How We Confirm Fitment on McLaren Artura Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including the McLaren Artura. For the Artura that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height measured separately on the front and rear because the front carbon ceramic package is larger, hub protrusion past the mounting surface, and the lug-bolt seat depth that is specific to European exotics. The Artura is a fresh platform for McLaren, not a continuation of the 570S or the 720S, so we measure it on its own car rather than carrying numbers across from either older Series. The hybrid powertrain also adds weight in different places than the 720S, which shifts the suspension behavior under load and affects the dynamic fender clearance at full compression. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the car. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.

McLaren Artura Wheels and Rims FAQ

What is the bolt pattern on a McLaren Artura?

Every 2023 and up McLaren Artura (Coupe and Spider) uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 66.56mm hub bore. Mounting is by lug bolt rather than lug nut and stud, with an M14x1.5 thread. Lug bolt length depends on the aftermarket wheel's mounting face thickness, so we ship the correct bolts with every McLaren Artura wheel order.

What is the hub bore on a McLaren Artura?

The hub bore on every McLaren Artura is 66.56mm. That is a larger bore than the 57.1mm used on the 570S Sports Series and the 720S Super Series, which is one reason an Artura wheel and a 720S wheel are not interchangeable on the hub. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.

Are McLaren Artura wheels staggered?

Yes. The Artura is mid-engine and rear-drive, with a wider rear wheel and tire than the front from the factory. Stock is 19x8.5 front and 20x11 rear. Element's aftermarket window runs 19-21 inch diameter with 8.5-9 inch front widths and 11-12 inch rear widths. The rear arches are physically wider than the fronts and the MCLA chassis is engineered around the staggered geometry, so we do not recommend square fitments.

Does a McLaren Artura use lug bolts or lug nuts?

Lug bolts. The Artura uses M14x1.5 lug bolts that thread directly into the hub rather than lug nuts on pre-installed studs. The correct bolt length depends on the aftermarket wheel's mounting face thickness, so the wrong length is the most common Artura installation mistake. We ship the right bolts with every McLaren Artura wheel order.

Are 720S wheels interchangeable with the Artura?

No. The Artura and the 720S both use a 5x112 bolt pattern with M14x1.5 lug bolts, but the Artura runs a 66.56mm centerbore while the 720S runs 57.1mm. A 720S wheel will not seat hub-centric on the larger Artura hub, and an Artura wheel will not seat correctly on the smaller 720S hub. The Artura also rides on an all-new MCLA chassis with a hybrid V6 powertrain rather than the 720S V8 and MonoCage II tub, with different brake caliper geometry. Element treats the Artura as its own fitment family.

Do Artura Coupe and Artura Spider share the same wheel fitment?

Yes. The Artura Coupe and the Artura Spider share the same MCLA carbon fiber tub, the same suspension geometry, and the same brake hardware. Both use 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore on M14x1.5 lug bolts and both are staggered from the factory. Aftermarket wheels that fit a Coupe will fit a Spider on the same fitment math. The Spider adds a folding hardtop and a small weight penalty, but the wheel mounting interface and the fitment box are identical.

What is the largest wheel I can fit on a McLaren Artura?

Our measured aftermarket window on the Artura tops at 21 inch rear diameter, with rear widths up to 12 inch. Above that, tire selection becomes difficult to source for the Artura and the fender clearance margin disappears. The most common Artura builds we ship are factory-matching 19 front and 20 rear staggered, or 20 front and 21 rear staggered for builds that want more aggressive stance.

How do I find the right wheels for my McLaren Artura?

Three steps on the Artura. Confirm your variant (Coupe or Spider). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit a 2023 and up McLaren Artura. Browse the wheel gallery for real-life Artura builds with size, offset, and tire captions. The correct M14x1.5 lug bolts and any hub centric rings you need ship with every order. For a more aggressive aftermarket build above factory size, contact our team for a free fitment consultation. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
