McLaren fitment is the simplest of any exotic brand. Every modern McLaren runs 5x112, the same bolt pattern Audi and Mercedes use on most of their lineup. Every McLaren ships factory staggered with a wider rear wheel because of the mid engine layout and the wide rear tire packages the cars are built around. Carbon ceramic brakes are standard on every McLaren and the clearance window for an aftermarket wheel is tight enough to demand direct measurement. The McLaren Bolt Pattern Landscape

McLaren uses one bolt pattern across the modern lineup.

The single bolt pattern simplifies cross shopping between McLaren models, but the carbon ceramic brake clearance is tight enough that wheels validated for a 650S may not clear a 720S or Artura.

How We Confirm Fitment

Element Wheels measures fitment on McLaren models we sell wheels for. For each chassis and brake combination we measure clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and any suspension components, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, lug height, and how much room the front wheel has when turning lock to lock. We do this on the car, not from a spec sheet.

That measurement work covers the most active McLaren platforms across the catalog. The 650S, 720S, and Artura are each tracked separately because the carbon ceramic brake clearance windows differ across the generations even though the bolt pattern is consistent. The 720S Spider and 765LT variants are tracked separately from the base 720S.
