Mercedes-Benz Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

Mercedes-Benz is one of the highest volume European luxury platforms in our customer base, anchored by the C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, GLC, and GLE. The AMG GT, AMG E63, S63, and GLE 63 carry the enthusiast aftermarket volume. The G-Class is its own off road category. Mercedes fitment is one of the most consistent landscapes on the site. Almost every Mercedes uses 5x112, the longstanding Mercedes bolt pattern that spans the A-Class through the S-Class and most SUVs. The exceptions are the G-Class (on 5x130 because of the truck class chassis) and the Sprinter (on 6x130 because of the commercial van platform). The brake clearance windows on the AMG performance trims are the tightest in the Mercedes lineup because of the oversized rotors and multi piston calipers on the 63 and AMG variants. Element Wheels has measured fitment across the majority of Mercedes-Benz platforms in our 26-model catalog so the wheels we show you have been validated for your exact chassis and brake setup. Pick your Mercedes-Benz model below and you can rest assured the wheels and rims will fit the way you want every time.

Complete Mercedes-Benz Lineup

The Mercedes-Benz Bolt Pattern Landscape

Mercedes-Benz runs 5x112 across nearly the entire lineup, with a 5x130 split on the G-Class and a 6x130 split on the Sprinter commercial van.

Mercedes-Benz bolt patterns at a glance

Mercedes-Benz car and SUV mainstream lineup (A, C, CL, CLA, CLE, CLK, CLS, E, EQ, GL, GLA, GLB, GLC, GLE, GLK, GLS, ML, R, S, SL, SLC, SLK, Metris, AMG GT): 5x112. The Mercedes mainstream pattern shared across nearly the entire car and SUV lineup.

Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G500, G550, G63, G65): 5x130. The truck class chassis pattern, shared with the Porsche Cayenne first generation.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (2010-2026): 6x130. The commercial van platform pattern.

The 5x112 dominance simplifies cross shopping across the car and SUV lineup. The G-Class on 5x130 is the major exception. A wheel that fits an S-Class will not fit a G-Class. The Sprinter sits on its own 6x130 commercial pattern.

Mercedes Bolt Pattern Consistency and the AMG Brake Packages

The AMG performance trims are the Mercedes brake clearance challenge. The C63, E63, S63, AMG GT, GLC 63, and GLE 63 all run oversized brake packages with 6 piston front calipers and large rotors that demand more wheel clearance than the standard trims. The carbon ceramic brake option on the S63, AMG GT R, and GT Black Series adds another layer of clearance challenge. A wheel that fits an E-Class will not always clear an E63 brake caliper.

The G-Class is the Mercedes outlier in every dimension. The 5x130 bolt pattern is shared with the Porsche Cayenne first generation and the Ineos Grenadier, both of which sit on truck class chassis. The G63 adds a larger AMG brake package that demands more clearance than the base G550. Offset windows are unique to the live axle chassis. Wheels do not cross between the G-Class and the rest of the Mercedes lineup.

The C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, and CLS are the most active sedan aftermarket platforms. Each ships with optional staggered fitment in higher trims. The CLA and CLS Coupe trims often ship staggered. Aftermarket staggered builds are common across the entire Mercedes lineup because the rear wheel drive performance layout supports a wider rear wheel.

How Element handles Mercedes-Benz fitment

The C63, E63, S63, AMG GT, GLC 63, and GLE 63 are each tracked separately from their base trims because of the AMG brake clearance windows. The G-Class is tracked separately on the 5x130 truck pattern. The Sprinter is tracked separately on the 6x130 commercial van pattern. Carbon ceramic brake options on the S63, AMG GT R, and GT Black Series are tracked as separate fitment windows because of the additional clearance demand. Every recommendation is validated against the actual brake and chassis combination on your car.

How We Confirm Fitment

Element Wheels measures fitment on Mercedes-Benz models we sell wheels for. For each chassis and brake combination we measure clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and any suspension components, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, lug height, and how much room the front wheel has when turning lock to lock. We do this on the car, not from a spec sheet.

That measurement work covers the most active Mercedes-Benz platforms across the catalog. Carbon ceramic brake options on the S63, AMG GT R, and GT Black Series are tracked as separate fitment windows.

Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.

Mercedes-Benz Wheel and Rim FAQ

What is the most popular Mercedes-Benz aftermarket platform?

The C-Class leads Mercedes aftermarket volume, followed by the E-Class, S-Class, GLC, and GLE. The AMG GT, E63, S63, and GLE 63 carry the enthusiast volume. The G-Class is its own off road category.

What is the Mercedes-Benz bolt pattern?

Most Mercedes models use 5x112, including the A-Class, C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, CLA, CLS, GLC, GLE, GLS, AMG GT, and most other models. The G-Class uses 5x130. The Sprinter uses 6x130.

Will C-Class wheels fit an E-Class?

Yes. Both the C-Class and E-Class use 5x112. Brake clearance and offset windows differ between the smaller C and the larger E. A C-Class wheel will bolt onto an E-Class but the offset may sit differently because of the wider E-Class track. Confirm offset and brake specs when cross shopping.

Will wheels from other Mercedes models fit a G-Class?

No. The G-Class uses 5x130 while the C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, AMG GT, GLC, GLE, and most other Mercedes models use 5x112. Different bolt patterns, wheels do not cross between the G-Class and the rest of the lineup.

Are the C-Class and AMG C63 wheels interchangeable?

They share the same 5x112 bolt pattern, but the C63 runs wider wheels, lower offsets, much larger AMG brake packages, and wider tires than the base C-Class. A C-Class wheel on a C63 will look too narrow and may not clear the caliper. A C63 wheel on a C-Class will stick past the fender or rub the suspension. The same logic applies between the E-Class and E63, the S-Class and S63, the GLE and GLE 63. The two share a chassis but the wheel fitment is a different family. We track them separately.

Are Mercedes wheels staggered?

Many Mercedes models ship staggered or with staggered options. The E-Class, S-Class, CLS, AMG GT, and most performance trims ship with wider rear wheels. The C-Class ships square in most trims. The G-Class and SUVs ship square in most cases. Aftermarket staggered builds are common across the lineup.

Will Audi wheels fit a Mercedes?

Often yes. Audi and Mercedes both use 5x112 on most of the lineup. Offset and centerbore typically differ between the two brands. Mercedes uses 66.6mm centerbore on most models. Audi varies between 66.6mm (newer) and 57.1mm (older). A hub centric ring may be required.

How do I find wheels for my specific Mercedes?

Pick your Mercedes-Benz model from the list above. Each model page covers the generations we have measured, with bolt pattern, offset window, and fitment specifics for each year range and trim. If you are not sure which generation or trim you have, our team can identify your exact configuration from your VIN.
