Nissan Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

Nissan is one of the largest enthusiast platforms in our customer base, anchored by the 350Z, 370Z, GT-R, and the legendary 240SX drift platform. The Altima, Maxima, Rogue, and Frontier carry the mainstream volume, with the Titan, Armada, and Pathfinder rounding out the trucks and SUVs. Nissan fitment is mostly clean on the cars and crossovers. The 350Z, 370Z, Z, GT-R, Altima, Maxima, Sentra (2013 and newer), Rogue, Murano, modern Pathfinder, Juke, Ariya, Leaf, and Quest all share a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. The 240SX 5-lug variants also use 5x114.3 while the 4-lug 240SX models use 4x114.3. The trucks are where Nissan gets unusual. The Frontier and Xterra use a 6x114.3 pattern that is rare outside Nissan. The Titan and Armada use 6x139.7, the standard light-duty truck pattern. A wheel that fits your Altima or 370Z will not fit your Frontier. A wheel that fits your Frontier will not fit your Titan. Element Wheels has measured fitment across the majority of Nissan platforms in our 21-model catalog so the wheels we show you have been validated for your exact chassis and brake setup. Pick your Nissan model below and you can rest assured the wheels and rims will fit the way you want every time.

Find your Nissan Model

Pick your Nissan model to see wheels and rims that fit. Most Nissan model pages cover multiple generations and trims, including the GT-R trim splits and the 350Z versus 370Z fitment differences. The most active aftermarket platforms are at the top, with the complete Nissan lineup below.

Complete Nissan Lineup

The Nissan Bolt Pattern Landscape

Nissan splits the lineup into three families. The cars and crossovers share one pattern. The mid-size trucks have their own unusual pattern. The full-size trucks and SUVs share a third pattern.

Nissan bolt patterns at a glance

Sports cars (300ZX, 350Z, 370Z, Z, GT-R): 5x114.3. The Nissan enthusiast pattern, shared with the rest of the mainstream lineup. The 240SX 5-lug variants also use 5x114.3 while the 4-lug 240SX models use 4x114.3.

Mainstream cars and crossovers (Altima, Maxima, Sentra, Versa, Rogue, Murano, Pathfinder, Juke, Kicks, Ariya, Leaf, Quest): 5x114.3 (also called 5x4.5). The Nissan mainstream pattern shared across nearly every sedan, hatchback, and crossover.

Mid-size trucks (Frontier, Xterra): 6x114.3 (also called 6x4.5). Unusual pattern that is largely Nissan-specific. The Frontier and Xterra are the only common platforms using this pattern.

Full-size trucks and SUVs (Titan, Armada): 6x139.7 (also called 6x5.5).

Older small cars and Cube: 4x114.3 or 4x100 depending on the model and year. The smallest historical Nissan platforms.

The takeaway is that the Frontier and Xterra are the odd platforms in the Nissan lineup. Their 6x114.3 bolt pattern does not cross with the Titan, the Pathfinder, or any other Nissan. A wheel marketed as "fits Nissan" will not fit a Frontier unless it specifies 6x114.3.

350Z, 370Z, and GT-R Wheel Fitment

The Z-cars and GT-R are Nissan's highest-volume aftermarket enthusiast platforms. All three share the 5x114.3 bolt pattern but their offset windows, brake clearances, and staggered fitment all differ.

The 350Z (2003-2009) and 370Z (2009-2020) both ship staggered from the factory with a wider rear wheel. The 350Z splits between base brakes and Brembo brakes, and the 370Z splits between Base, Sport Brakes, and Nismo variants. The Sport Brakes and Nismo trims of the 370Z run the same larger brake setup, which narrows the wheel clearance window compared to the base 370Z. The GT-R is its own engineering exercise. The R35 GT-R (2009 and newer) uses 5x114.3 with a 66.1mm hub bore and 6-piston front Brembo brakes, with very specific offset and tire size requirements because the car runs near the edge of what the body can clear at full lock.

How Element handles Nissan enthusiast fitment

The 350Z and 370Z share a single model page with separate fitment specs by generation. The 350Z is tracked by base-brake and Brembo-brake variants. The 370Z is tracked by base, Sport Brakes, and Nismo variants because the Sport Brakes and Nismo trims share a larger brake setup. The GT-R has its own page with the 5x114.3 fitment, 66.1mm hub bore, and 6-piston Brembo brake clearance. The 240SX is tracked separately because the older S13 and S14 chassis have different fender geometry than the modern Z cars.

The Frontier deserves its own note. The 6x114.3 bolt pattern is rare. Most aftermarket wheels labeled as "truck wheels" or "off-road wheels" are produced in the more common 6x139.7 pattern for GM full-size trucks and the Toyota Tacoma. Frontier and Xterra customers have a narrower selection because of this, and we curate the Frontier model page accordingly.

How We Confirm Fitment

Element Wheels measures fitment on Nissan models we sell wheels for. For each chassis and brake combination we measure clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and any suspension components, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, lug height, and how much room the front wheel has when turning lock to lock. We do this on the car or the truck, not from a spec sheet.

That measurement work covers the most active Nissan platforms across the catalog. The 350Z and 370Z are tracked separately by generation, with the 350Z split by base/Brembo brakes and the 370Z split by base/Sport Brakes/Nismo. The GT-R is tracked on the 5x114.3 fitment with 6-piston Brembo brake clearance. The Frontier and Xterra are tracked separately from the rest of the lineup because the 6x114.3 bolt pattern requires its own wheel curation. The Titan and Armada share a 6x139.7 page with the full-size truck fitment window. Our fitment recommendations come from these direct measurements rather than manufacturer spec sheets.

Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.

Nissan Wheel and Rim FAQ

What is the most popular Nissan aftermarket platform?

The 350Z and 370Z are among our highest volume Nissan platforms on the enthusiast side, with the GT-R as the premium halo. The 240SX remains a legendary drift platform with stable demand. On the mainstream side, the Altima, Maxima, Rogue, and Frontier are among the highest volume. The Titan and Armada anchor the full-size truck and SUV demand.

What is the Nissan bolt pattern?

It depends on the platform. The cars, crossovers, and enthusiast sports cars (240SX, 350Z, 370Z, GT-R, Altima, Maxima, Sentra, Rogue, Murano, Pathfinder, Ariya, Leaf, Juke, Kicks, Quest) all use 5x114.3. The Frontier and Xterra use 6x114.3, which is rare. The Titan and Armada use 6x139.7. Older small cars and Cube use 4x114.3 or 4x100.

Will Altima wheels fit a Frontier?

No. The Altima uses 5 lug 5x114.3. The Frontier uses 6 lug 6x114.3. The lug count is different. The wheels do not bolt across. The Frontier is one of the few common platforms using 6x114.3, so wheel selection requires checking the pattern carefully.

Will Frontier wheels fit a Titan?

No. The Frontier uses 6x114.3. The Titan uses 6x139.7. The lug count is the same but the pattern diameter is different. Frontier wheels will not fit a Titan and vice versa, even though both are Nissan trucks. The Frontier shares its pattern only with the Xterra.

Are Nissan wheels staggered?

It depends on the model. The 370Z Base and GT-R ship factory staggered with wider rear wheels. The 350Z (both brake variants), 370Z Nismo, 370Z Sport Brakes, and the new Z (2023+) ship staggered from the factory and accept optional square aftermarket setups. The Maxima and Altima ship square from the factory but the SR and other sport trims run staggered options aftermarket. The Frontier, Titan, and SUVs run square.

What is the most common GT-R fitment mistake?

Picking a wheel that does not clear the front Brembo. The R35 GT-R runs a 6-piston front brake (8-piston on NISMO) that is unusually large for a 20-inch wheel application. Wheels marketed broadly as "5x114.3 fits Z cars and GT-R" often do not clear the GT-R Brembos. We measure GT-R brake clearance directly on the car for every wheel we recommend on that model page.

How do I find wheels for my specific Nissan?

Pick your Nissan model from the list above. Each model page covers the generations we have measured, with bolt pattern, offset window, and fitment specifics for each year range and trim. If you are not sure which generation you have, our team can identify your exact configuration from your VIN.
