The Altima, Maxima, Rogue, and Frontier carry the mainstream volume, with the Titan, Armada, and Pathfinder rounding out the trucks and SUVs. Nissan fitment is mostly clean on the cars and crossovers. The 350Z, 370Z, Z, GT-R, Altima, Maxima, Sentra (2013 and newer), Rogue, Murano, modern Pathfinder, Juke, Ariya, Leaf, and Quest all share a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. The 240SX 5-lug variants also use 5x114.3 while the 4-lug 240SX models use 4x114.3. The trucks are where Nissan gets unusual. The Frontier and Xterra use a 6x114.3 pattern that is rare outside Nissan. The Titan and Armada use 6x139.7, the standard light-duty truck pattern. A wheel that fits your Altima or 370Z will not fit your Frontier. A wheel that fits your Frontier will not fit your Titan. The Nissan Bolt Pattern Landscape

Nissan splits the lineup into three families. The cars and crossovers share one pattern. The mid-size trucks have their own unusual pattern. The full-size trucks and SUVs share a third pattern.

The takeaway is that the Frontier and Xterra are the odd platforms in the Nissan lineup. Their 6x114.3 bolt pattern does not cross with the Titan, the Pathfinder, or any other Nissan. A wheel marketed as "fits Nissan" will not fit a Frontier unless it specifies 6x114.3.

350Z, 370Z, and GT-R Wheel Fitment

The Z-cars and GT-R are Nissan's highest-volume aftermarket enthusiast platforms. All three share the 5x114.3 bolt pattern but their offset windows, brake clearances, and staggered fitment all differ.

The 350Z (2003-2009) and 370Z (2009-2020) both ship staggered from the factory with a wider rear wheel. The 350Z splits between base brakes and Brembo brakes, and the 370Z splits between Base, Sport Brakes, and Nismo variants. The Sport Brakes and Nismo trims of the 370Z run the same larger brake setup, which narrows the wheel clearance window compared to the base 370Z. The GT-R is its own engineering exercise. The R35 GT-R (2009 and newer) uses 5x114.3 with a 66.1mm hub bore and 6-piston front Brembo brakes, with very specific offset and tire size requirements because the car runs near the edge of what the body can clear at full lock.

The Frontier deserves its own note. The 6x114.3 bolt pattern is rare. Most aftermarket wheels labeled as "truck wheels" or "off-road wheels" are produced in the more common 6x139.7 pattern for GM full-size trucks and the Toyota Tacoma. Frontier and Xterra customers have a narrower selection because of this, and we curate the Frontier model page accordingly.

How We Confirm Fitment

Element Wheels measures fitment on Nissan models we sell wheels for. For each chassis and brake combination we measure clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and any suspension components, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, lug height, and how much room the front wheel has when turning lock to lock. We do this on the car or the truck, not from a spec sheet.

That measurement work covers the most active Nissan platforms across the catalog. The 350Z and 370Z are tracked separately by generation, with the 350Z split by base/Brembo brakes and the 370Z split by base/Sport Brakes/Nismo. The GT-R is tracked on the 5x114.3 fitment with 6-piston Brembo brake clearance. The Frontier and Xterra are tracked separately from the rest of the lineup because the 6x114.3 bolt pattern requires its own wheel curation. The Titan and Armada share a 6x139.7 page with the full-size truck fitment window. Our fitment recommendations come from these direct measurements rather than manufacturer spec sheets.
