Hyundai Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
Hyundai is one of the highest volume mainstream platforms in our customer base, anchored by the Elantra, Sonata, Tucson, and Santa Fe. The Palisade and Kona round out the popular SUV side. The Genesis Coupe (2010-2016, before Genesis became its own brand) and the Veloster N still anchor the enthusiast volume. Hyundai fitment is cleaner than most platforms. The current lineup runs 5x114.3 across nearly every model. Older small cars (Accent, base Elantra pre-2006) used 4x100, and the very first Accent generations used 4x114.3. The modern Sonata, Elantra, Tucson, Santa Fe, Palisade, Kona, Veloster, Ioniq, and Santa Cruz all share the 5x114.3 mainstream pattern. A wheel that fits your Elantra will fit a Sonata. The generation transition years on the older small cars are the only place to be careful. Element Wheels has measured fitment across the majority of Hyundai platforms in our 20-model catalog so the wheels we show you have been validated for your exact chassis. Pick your Hyundai model below and you can rest assured the wheels and rims will fit the way you want every time.

The Hyundai Bolt Pattern Landscape
Hyundai is one of the cleanest bolt pattern landscapes on the site. Nearly every modern Hyundai uses 5x114.3. The legacy small cars use the compact patterns.
Hyundai bolt patterns at a glance
Modern Hyundai lineup (Sonata, Elantra, Tucson, Santa Fe, Palisade, Kona, Veloster, Ioniq, Santa Cruz, Genesis Coupe, Genesis Sedan, Equus, Tiburon, Azera, modern Accent, Santa Fe Sport, Veracruz): 5x114.3 (also called 5x4.5). The Hyundai mainstream pattern shared across nearly every model.
Older small cars (older Accent, older Elantra): 4x100 or 4x114.3. The very first generations of the smallest Hyundais used these patterns before the lineup unified on 5x114.3.
Entourage minivan: 5x114.3 with truck-style load specs. The Entourage shares its platform with the Kia Sedona of the same era.
The takeaway is that wheels cross between most modern Hyundais on the 5x114.3 pattern. Offset windows and brake clearance differ by model, especially on the Veloster N and Genesis Coupe with their performance brake setups, but the bolt pattern is consistent. Older small cars need their bolt pattern confirmed by year before assuming wheels carry over.
How We Confirm Fitment
Element Wheels measures fitment on Hyundai models we sell wheels for. For each chassis and brake combination we measure clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and any suspension components, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, lug height, and how much room the front wheel has when turning lock to lock. We do this on the car, not from a spec sheet.
That measurement work covers the most active Hyundai platforms across the catalog. The Veloster N is tracked separately from the base Veloster because of the larger brake setup. The Genesis Coupe is tracked separately by trim because the 2.0T and 3.8 Track trims run different brake clearance. The Palisade is tracked separately from the Santa Fe because of the larger platform. Older Accent and Elantra small car generations are tracked separately by year for the bolt pattern transitions. Our fitment recommendations come from these direct measurements rather than manufacturer spec sheets.
Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
Hyundai Wheel and Rim FAQ
What is the most popular Hyundai aftermarket platform?
The Elantra, Sonata, Tucson, and Santa Fe lead Hyundai's mainstream aftermarket volume. The Palisade and Kona round out the popular SUV side. The Genesis Coupe (2010-2016) and Veloster N anchor the enthusiast volume.
What is the Hyundai bolt pattern?
Most modern Hyundais use 5x114.3, including the Sonata, Elantra, Tucson, Santa Fe, Palisade, Kona, Veloster, Genesis Coupe, Genesis Sedan, Ioniq, Equus, and Santa Cruz. Older small cars (early Accent, early Elantra) used 4x100 or 4x114.3.
Will Elantra wheels fit a Sonata?
The bolt pattern is shared (both 5x114.3). The brake clearance and offset windows differ. A wheel that fits an Elantra at a tight offset will look more aggressive on a Sonata, which sits slightly wider. Always confirm offset and brake specs when cross-shopping between Hyundai models.
Are the Veloster and Veloster N wheels interchangeable?
They share the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern, but the Veloster N runs wider wheels, lower offsets, larger front brakes, and wider tires than the base Veloster. A base Veloster wheel on an N will look too narrow and may not clear the brake. An N wheel on a base Veloster will stick past the fender or rub the suspension. The two share a chassis but the wheel fitment is a different family. We track them separately.
Are Hyundai wheels staggered?
Most Hyundais ship square from the factory. The Genesis Coupe Track trim runs factory staggered with a wider rear wheel. Aftermarket staggered builds are common on the Sonata, Elantra, and Genesis Coupe as a styling choice. Each model page covers both setups where applicable.
How do I find wheels for my specific Hyundai?
Pick your Hyundai model from the list above. Each model page covers the generations we have measured, with bolt pattern, offset window, and fitment specifics for each year range and trim. If you are not sure which generation or trim you have, our team can identify your exact configuration from your VIN.
